We stayed in Beatty for a night and there were few options for breakfast. I saw Gema's had good reviews so we tried it. It's a cute little cafe with excellent service. The food was cooked fresh and very good. I would definitely recommend it.
Gema's was the highlight of our stay in Beatty. Our dinner was authentic Mexican home cooked food prepared from scratch by the waiter/owner's abuelita (grandmother).The next best part was the conversation with the waiter/owner (Manuel) and an old-timer. They told us all about the town - the good, the bad, and the ugly. Manuel told us all about the different kinds of people who come to the restaurant and their preferences. Perfect stop for breakfast on the road from Vegas to Reno! We had a wonderful breakfast at Gemas Cafe after finding it on our long route through Nevada. The omelets were perfectly fluffy and full of delicious ingredients. We also got toast and sides of fruit which were very filling! A great value for breakfast! Happy to stop here again on our next journey, definitely worth looking for if you are driving through!
