Black Bear Diner Reviews

Menu
Black Bear Diner offers tasty meals, such as a cheeseburger salad with a nicely chopped burger and fresh, crisp salad. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is usually good, though sometimes loud conversations from other guests can be heard. The diner is located inside Max Casino and may have a strong smell of cigarettes near the slot machines, but this is less noticeable inside due to its open kitchen layout. The diner is wheelchair accessible, but the restrooms are in the casino. The train display outside adds a charming touch. Guests often enjoy the friendly atmosphere, and many appreciate the good quality food, especially the coconut cream pie, which is a favorite. However, the restaurant doesn't serve root beer floats until after 3 pm, and some customers have noted minor issues with fruit in their meals, likely due to seasonal availability. Overall, the Black Bear Diner provides a comfortable place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with hearty portions and friendly staff.
