We visited for the first time today and honestly didn’t know what to expect. We were a bit unsure at first, but after reading the reviews and seeing a few TikTok videos, we decided to take the drive to Carson City, and we’re so glad we did. The food completely exceeded our expectations; full of flavor and generous portions (so much so that we couldn’t finish it!). This is literally one of the best places I've ever ate in my life! I visited Carson City from Nebraska and I'm so glad I stopped here. I got the Yurika SteakHouse Pie...it was so delicious and I'm astounded how big the portion was as well. Hot Potato Pie is an absolute 10 out of 10!

Hot Potato Pie is a restaurant in Carson City that offers a fantastic experience. The food completely exceeds expectations, being full of flavor with generous, huge portions. The potatoes are amazing with such flavor combination options available. Specific meals include lunch and dinner. The environment inside has a amazing, rustic feel. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, welcoming, and amazingly sweet. Service is amazing. While the drive is absolutely worth it, some note that loitering outside can be an issue. Overall, it is a favorite place and is absolutely recommended. Customers will definitely be back again and again, hoping for a future location in Reno.
