We visited for the first time today and honestly didn’t know what to expect. We were a bit unsure at first, but after reading the reviews and seeing a few TikTok videos, we decided to take the drive to Carson City, and we’re so glad we did. The food completely exceeded our expectations; full of flavor and generous portions (so much so that we couldn’t finish it!). Everything tasted great, and the staff, especially Yurika and Moses 💯 they were incredibly friendly and helpful....read full review

Hot Potato Pie is a restaurant in Carson City that offers a fantastic experience. The food completely exceeds expectations, being full of flavor with generous, huge portions. The potatoes are amazing with such flavor combination options available. Specific meals include lunch and dinner. The environment inside has a amazing, rustic feel. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, welcoming, and amazingly sweet. Service is amazing. While the drive is absolutely worth it, some note that loitering outside can be an issue. Overall, it is a favorite place and is absolutely recommended. Customers will definitely be back again and again, hoping for a future location in Reno.
