Excellent food, fantastic service. We made a 7:45 PM reservation knowing that the restaurant would close at 8:30. Due to traffic, we actually arrived a few minutes before 8 o'clock; the restaurant was now empty (due to Halloween, everyone was in Reno) and the staff were cleaning up, so we told the waitress, Thalia, that we would actually go somewhere else as we didn't want to keep everyone there just for us. She and her colleagues insisted otherwise. The result was...
Dined at this fine establishment with my family for the first time last night and really enjoyed everything about it. The restaurant was charming, the service was prompt and polite and there was even a gentleman playing lovely tunes on a keyboard. I will say that the food portions were on the smaller side but for me personally, that's the way I prefer it and especially if it's really good. And I will say, the halibut I ordered and the chicken cacciatore my wife order...
Food was very good. Serving sizes were not out of control.Service was great and very fast.Atmosphere is a little dated, dark and loud (very high ceilings and nothing tobabsorb the noise). So not a super romantic atmosphere.
