The best paletas I’ve ever had. Innovative flavors, great quality and deliciously refreshing.
Came for a dance lesson, stayed for ice cream! This place is great, the ice cream is apparently home-made and it comes at a very fair price. Highly recommended. I’ll be back!

La Tapatia is a hidden gem in Carson City with a fun and colorful vibe. The shop is amazing, offering much more than just ice cream, with many delicious offerings. Their ice cream and paletas are made in house with real cream and ingredients, full of rich, authentic flavor and super fresh. They boast over 30 flavors, and the Mango is a favorite. They also sell aguas frescas like Horchata, Jamaica, cucumber mint, and mango passion fruit, all very tasty. Other products include home made Tamales, ice pops, corn in a cup (Esquite/Shasta), and ice cream scoops.
The staff provides a warm welcome and friendly service, with wonderful owners and employees. The customer service is the best and very inviting. Prices are reasonable and fantastic for the quality, offering great value. The tamales are huge and flavorful. It is by far the best ice cream in Carson City, and every visit is a treat. It is definitely recommended for a visit.
