“This was our first time checking this place out. They greeted us as we walked in got us a seat and had some amazing and fresh great tasting sushi. They made it very quick and it looked like an art piece when it was served.
We will definitely be back.“

“Hay, for a sushi bar with and active pizza oven (also used for mussels and eel ), open to a casino floor with smoking and a sake list served by an Italian restaurant.... it is pretty darn good. Fresh and creative sushi. Great cutters. All u can eat could be death by sushi. Went two times on one trip.“

“I haven't been to Tomo Sushi in probably decades, but decided to give it a try. It's got a lot better over the years. The place looks about the same inside. The service was very good, though the server had a little trouble recognizing what nigiri was what, beyond the obvious salmon.
We came for lunch which is priced at $27.95 per person, the usual rules apply about wasting food and leaving rice on the plate. But what was nice is they don't overload the rice here. I ordered mostly nigiri and the little rice ball was welcome as opposed to that big loaf of rice and thin piece of fish on top at some places. All the fish tasted fresh and tender. The mussels were a nice surprise, served in spoons already taken out of their shells. Those were tasty and easy to deal with, without the shells.
Sitting at at table, you just fill out the order sheet of what you want on the all you can eat option. They didn't forget any items either. I'll make more of an effort to remember to come here for sushi when in Carson City.“

“I'd hardly call myself a sushi connoisseur but Oishi Sushi might be the best I've had. Prompt service, reasonable pricing, sushi served on these really neat wooden serving trays (first was a bridge, second was a boat). Everything tasted fresh. Absolutely delicious. This is the only sushi place I've tried in Carson so I can't compare to the others nearby, but its as good as anything I've had in Reno.“
