Food was great as always but the highlight of our visit was our waitress Dakota. She was sweet and attentive with a big smile and laughs.

Black Bear in Fernley is a favorite place to eat, with a friendly vibe and delicious food. The waitress Janie is the best, making customers feel at home with a happy attitude and a smile. She works hard to please, is fast and funny, and never misses a beat. She makes sure to address children and has them order for themselves, making them feel included. The food is ok too. The Reuben sandwich and tri tip are great and delicious. The salad is fresh, the soup is really good, and the coleslaw is great as well. Customers visit at least once a week, almost every Sunday for dinner and cake, or a few times a month with daughters. They always ask for Janie and leave happy.
