“We have stopped in Hawthorne several times in the past, as it is right in the middle of our home and Vegas. We had a bad meal at the local casino the last time so we decided to try Pepper's Place. A funky, old building, but the folks inside couldn't have been nicer. The portions of the food are huge. I had the Patty Melt and didn't realize that it came with two large patties. It was cooked to perfection, and the Texas Toast was great too. My wife had a Taco Salad that must have weighed two pounds. The Frings (rings and fries) was a large portion too. I would have liked the fries a little crisper but all in all, it was a very satisfying meal.”
