“Update: I'm glad they're back open I really enjoy their chicken Pad Thai. I've seen the other reviews, and it's true, they're not the best at updating the online prices. And when you call in communication can be hard. But the food comes out very quick. They don't take your credit card information when you call in an order, I don't think they even start cooking till I get there and pay $. So now I just walk in look at the menu and order. I don't order online anymore because it comes out just as fast. I just tell them I want to order to go.

Staff is friendly. I've ordered the chicken pad Thai and chicken satay appetizer which we're both good. I've also had the crab rangoon and it's a hit or miss, half of the time they came out cold. I've been there a few times now and I will be a repeat customer because overall it's good food.“

The general manager reached out to me directly and offered to remake my order. I appreciated her offer and following up on my feedback.

Check your order before you leave the restaurant if it's a large order.
I placed an online order for 4 Family Proteins (all grilled chicken) and was given a family chicken meal, which includes 2 Rice and 1 Veggies.
I basically paid $80 for a family meal, which is $32. I lived 25 mins from this location, so I wasn't going back. I submitted feedback through their website, so hopefully I can get refunded the difference.

I'll be trying a different waba location for my proteins going forward.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Best Landing Ever — 10/10 Would Fall Again” So there I was, minding my own business, enjoying the in-flight peanuts at 35,000 feet, when gravity decided to spice things up. One wrong step, and boom — I’m free-falling like a majestic bowling ball with commitment issues. No parachute, no plan, just pure aerodynamic panic. As I plummeted through the clouds, I saw my life flash before my eyes — mostly memories of me saying, “It’s fine, I’ve got this.” Spoiler alert: I did not got this. Then fate intervened. Out of all the places on Earth, I crash-landed right through the roof of Houston Hot Chicken like a meteor made of confusion and regret. I didn’t so much land as I reintroduced myself to the concept of gravity. Tables flipped, fries flew, and someone screamed, “Bro just DoorDashed himself!” The employees, absolute legends, didn’t even flinch. One handed me a napkin, another asked, “You want that mild or extra hot?” My spine said mild, but my soul said let’s make it worth it. I left that restaurant smelling like jet fuel and Nashville seasoning, but with a heart full of gratitude and a stomach full of dangerously good chicken. Final verdict: Service — 10/10 (They didn’t call an ambulance until I finished eating.) Atmosphere — explosive. Food — so hot it resurrected me. Would recommend? “The chickenjoy family chicken, 6 piece box, was delicious not too much salt and it wasn't greasy at all. I enjoyed the 6 piece chickenjoy. I also got a deluxe original chicken sandwich. It was also tasty. Didn't disappoint. Good service and friendly staff, very tasty chicken. Next time, I will try their classic burger, but the chicken is hard to resist and to treat yourself once in a while! ❣️“

“Better than Canes ONLY because their tenders are seasoned but they are NOT better than HOUSTON'S HOT CHICKEN when it comes to Nashville Hot Sandwiches. When I went, I got a similar order to what I get at Houston's Hot Chicken; a sandwich, tender, and fries.

I got my sandwich medium heat, my tender hot, and regular fries. While I was eating the sandwich I was complaining about how I could not taste any heat, and I couldn't. There was a kale coleslaw on the sandwich which I was indifferent about, I could have taken it off and not missed it or had it on. The fries were pretty standard, there might have been a seasoning on it but it wasn't in your face.

NOW, for the HOT tender! It was hot, I took a bite. Singular bite, out of it with the piece of bread that it is served on. Chewed for a moment and then it hit, BOOM! THAT IS HOT! I tried eating a pickle, drinking my lemonade, fanning my mouth; it was so spicy. The sipping sauce that is served with the meal is rather delicious too.“

“This looks cation is really busy so the workers are under a lot stress but the do a great job. The service can be a bit slow because of how much they have to do during busy times.

They have always done a great job getting me all my items and keeping the food consistent. I don't mind waiting since the food is hot and not sitting staged for a long time.“

“The food was delicious. I asked to get a tiny taste of the cheese that goes in the burrito and the employee wanted to charge me, as if I was ordering a side of cheese. I didn't want a full side of it, just a taste to see if that was what was the making it spicy. I tried to teach some about good customer service and that I didn't need to be charged for just a smidge. Hopefully their manager teaches them.“
