The vibe here is great—super friendly crowd, pool tables, slot machines, and even a virtual golf game to keep things interesting. They don’t serve food, but it’s no big deal since DoorDash delivers right to the bar. I’m definitely coming back!“

The atmosphere immediately makes you feel like you’re in for a good evening. The martinis are excellent, the appetizers hit the mark, and it’s the kind of place you come to unwind after a long workday.

That said, there’s a recurring hiccup during happy hour. Service usually starts off strong—first martini, appetizer, initial check-in—but then I sometimes find myself forgotten. I’ve spent more than one happy hour waving for a second drink. It doesn’t ruin the experience, but it’s noticeable.

Tonight, West was playing the piano and absolutely took the room back in time. The entire bar was engaged, singing along, and loving every minute of it. His tip jars said everything before anyone had to.

And then there’s Juan (forgive me if the spelling is Q or J)—I secretly call him “City Aisle” because he’s from New York 😄.

We’re newer to the area after moving from Miami, and even though we only come in about once a month, Juan never forgets us. He remembers what we like, consistently checks in, and genuinely makes us feel welcomed. Because of his friendliness, not only do I keep coming back—but my girlfriends do too. Ladies’ night at Hank’s has become a repeat thing because of Juan.

Even when we’re not in his section, he fills the gaps—always taking a quick peek to see if we need anything.

What stood out most tonight was that it wasn’t just me saying this. Sitting at the bar near the piano, multiple people talked about how wonderful Juan is as a server. That kind of reputation doesn’t happen by accident.

They say you should give people their flowers while they’re still here—and Juan absolutely deserves his. And many, many tips.

Despite the occasional service inconsistency during happy hour, I love Hank’s. If you’re in the Green Valley area and looking for a great happy hour with strong drinks, live music, and standout service, this place is worth checking out.“

“Absolutely outstanding!! As someone with gluten, dairy, soy, egg white, and oat allergies, it is nearly impossible to feel safe eating out. Troi exchanged multiple emails with me to further inquire about my needs and to make suggestions on what I could eat. He knew not only the ingredients in each dish, but whether each ingredient was safe! For instance, their tomatillos are processed in a facility that also handles wheat, so he said to steer clear of that salsa, but if I could handle heat, I could eat their CK Red salsa. They were transparent about everything and he said to ask for Tami when we arrived. We did, and she introduced herself. She's the owner and is GF, with a sensitive daughter as well, so nothing gets by them. You can tell when people love their work, and it is evident here. I felt cared for and you can taste it in every bite, from the amazing pulled pork carnitas and crispy smashed potatoes to their yummy decaf coffee (which, let's face it, is rarely good anywhere). My friend inhaled her vegan avocado tacos and we immediately made plans to come back for Sunday brunch. Plus it's easy to find, roomy and classy with indoor and outdoor dining options. So happy to have found these folks!“

“Wonderful place with great food, service, and value. There is a downside on some evenings for those who like conversation during dinner. I'm not sure, but I think just weekends, they have a guitar player providing music. He is fantastic. Everything from classical and flamenco to pop and rock. But, it is loud. When we arrived at 5:30 pm on Friday, Valentines Day, we asked the hostess if the volume could be turned down. She did that and it helped a lot. She cut it about in half, but it was still difficult to talk with the other couple we invited to dine with us, and we were at the opposite end of quite a long room. Like I said, the music is great. It would be wonderful if it was more in the background during prime dining hours. If I am at the bar and gaming, I say, bring it on.“

“Just wrapped up the most amazing vacation here at The M Resort and all I can say is that our whole experience from check in to check out was SPECTACULAR! customer service- 10/10, amenities- 10/10, FOOD WAS 10/10 ALL AROUND! Casino staff was amazing! Over all our experience was amazing and we can’t wait to come back! The resort being outside of the strip gave for a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere which is what my husband and I were wanting. If you’re hesitant about booking, don’t be! Book your stay! “At last a sushi restaurant with real wild caught sushi. The salad was decent (served three.) The combination sushi and sashimi plate was wonderful - all the delicate flavors of wild caught sashimi. And a final bonus real prime grade rib eye steak. Literally melted in our mouths. An additional bonus was perfectly prepared hamachi kama (yellowtail collar.) Hamachi kama is not for everyone, but for the connoisseurs of seafood it was perfect. If I have any criticism it is that Salmon Skin hand roll, a favorite of mine, was not on the menu.“
