We've been going to Tides since it opened and enjoyed their pan roasts, etouffee, jambolaya, steak and sushi. Then they eliminated the sushi and steak. Then changed the name to the Oyster Bar and raised the prices. $17 for a 6 oz glass of wine. On the Strip, $17 is expensive. In Henderson and a "local" casino it's outrageous. The food was good, but since they've removed meat from the menu and moved sushi to their new overpriced shushi bar we'll look...

We arrived for our 8pm reservation. We were greeted by a friendly face and promptly seated. Our server was friendly and efficient. She gave some recommendations for the oysters that were spot on. And when one diner had trouble deciding her suggestion proved to be perfect. The food portions were much larger than anticipated for the price and we ended up with some leftovers, but everything was amazing.

Poor service. Extremely slow. Clam chowder was just ok. Not what I was expecting at all. I ordered the New England creamy style.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
