“This was my second time here. the first time I came here the customer service sucked and the food was not anything special. The owner responded and asked that I give them a second chance. Since I LOVE fried chicken I agreed. What an improvement. A little pricey, 16.00 for six pieces of chicken. But customer service was GREAT. And the chicken was tasty 👍👍“

“Food prices are reasonable considering it is Las Vegas. The amount of food is generous. I ordered it hot, but the seasoning was too salty rather than spicy.
It's similar to the seasoning of Cheetos snacks, but it seems saltier than that. If you like a bland and light taste, I recommend Mild or Medium. I think that would be acceptable for Koreans as well.
And if you come alone, I recommend Dave menu number 3 or number 4.

Co-founder Barseghian states, “Our brand is Texas hot chicken – the sauce is sweeter and more savory than Nashville.” Despite the branding, this business has no connection to Texas; it is named after co-founder, Houston Crosta. KM and I visited Houston TX Hot Chicken in Meridian on 10/4/23, as part of a Yelp Elite event. We both got a complimentary Original Hot Chicken sandwich meal combo, plus a chicken tender and beverage of choice. The restaurant has high ceilings with exposed duct work, which gives it an industrial vibe. There are cool counter tops lit from beneath, which change color. There is a good amount of what appears to be light wood paneling along the walls, with some large, bold red images on part of a wall and the bathroom doors. The décor has a modern, youthful vibe. The combination of the most comfortable seating I’ve encountered in a fast/casual restaurant of it’s kind, indoor AND outdoor/patio dining, and great music played at a reasonable volume, gives the sense Houston TX Hot Chicken is trying to appear to a broader customer base than some of the other hot chicken joints I’ve visited locally, which is much appreciated. The service from start to end was EXCELLENT! The employees seemed genuinely happy to see us, and very sincere in their offer to answer questions etc. We also got to meet the GM Jason, who was very personable and a wealth of information. KM ordered the Strawberry Hibiscus House Lemonade, which you can upgrade to a Slushy for $1. I tried a taste. We both thought it was pretty good. I got Diet Pepsi. It had good carbonation. The Spice Levels from mildest to hottest are: No Spice, Honey Butter, Mild, Medium, Spicy, Liftoff, and Houston We Have a Problem. Ordering the latter requires you to sign a waiver. KM ordered a Mild Original Hot Chicken sandwich, and a Honey Butter chicken tender. I ordered a Medium Original Hot Chicken sandwich, and a Spicy chicken tender. There are 8 sauces to choose from, 4 of which are made in house daily. We got one of each of the ones made in house daily: House, Cheese, Cilantro, and Caesar. KM and I both LOVED our Original Hot Chicken sandwiches! KM doesn’t like spicy food as much as I do. She enjoyed both Mild and Honey Butter, though she didn’t feel she could really taste the Honey Butter flavoring in her tender. I loved both the Medium and Spicy, but next time I would get a Spicy sandwich and maybe try a Liftoff tender. The Halal chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I don’t normally care for sweet sauces such as the House, but it paired perfectly with the Spicy flavor of my sandwich. The cole slaw was good. I really liked the Brioche bun; KM would have preferred an old-school Sesame Seed Hamburger Bun. The pickles were good. Each order included a container of House sauce. Houston TX Hot Chicken serves high quality Lamb Weston Concertina cut French fries. Concertina cut is “a modern take on classic crinkle cuts with deeper, crispier grooves and ridges. Crispy grooves have more edges that provide satisfying extra crunch. Thick cuts are sturdier and are less prone to breaking than thinner fries.” In my opinion, Lamb Weston French fries are the best premade fries you can buy, but they are hard to find. I appreciate that Houston TX Hot Chicken’s attention to detail regarding the use of high quality ingredients includes the type of chicken they use, as well as the quality of French fries they serve. The only thing I didn’t like about the fries is I think they are lightly seasoned with Honey Butter flavored spice. I like sweet flavors as part of a dessert, but I don’t care for them in an entrée. KM didn’t feel the fries were sweet. The average person may not. I’m just extra sensitive to sweet flavors in entrees. Next time, I would ask for the seasoning“

“Dont let the term Sliders fool you. Portions were large. Hot is Hot. I would only try the Reaper on a Double Dog Dare. Staff on Craig are very nice. The rub has a sweetness that was unexpected. I think it is added to tame the heat... if you like hot dont worry it didnt work.“

“We were on our way to Bojangles chicken when we saw the big Red Chicken for the newly opened Houston TX Hot Chicken. my husband asked if we should try it, I said why not try something new, we got inside and when looking at the menu I was a little put off at the price for three tender meal. but we both ordered it, I really like how I can customize each tender to be a different flavor or all one flavor, but still the price was an issue for me. The customer service was great, we got our drinks and our food was brought to us, when I saw the size of the tenders I realized why they were the price they were, these things are big, not Bojangles, Zaxby's, or Raising Cane's size these are double if not triple the size and they were all white meat, not that off white, beige color some of the other places have. I could only eat one and brought the other two home, the fries were hot a crispy crinkle cut fries with a seasoning on them just perfect. HHC will be our new Go to for Chicken. My only issue was the meals do not come with a drink. other than that everything else was on point.“

“Fast and friendly service. The food was delicious. The dark meat chicken was flavorful and juicy, cooked perfectly. The medium salad is quite large and the gyro meat on it was delicious. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. Highly recommend for a good, fast Greek meal.“

“Im always on the lookout for good fried chicken. I looked at my Google map and ot directed me to OK Chicken, located west of Chinatown, but the heart of Koreatown. Its actually located inside the Greenland shopping center, which was a little confusing. After a long walk, I finally found the foodcourt inside the shopping center, to the right of the entryway . Again, I was baffled because tge restaurants are very close together and it was a little tricky to find even the signage but alas I found it.
I wasn't sure what to order but I ordered the Combo. There was a little language barrier between myself and the cashier, she took me literally.
What i wanted to order, was a multi piece combo , containing approximately 6 to 8 pieces of fried chicken.
What i apparently ordered was the family feast, a 10x10 inch box containing 20 pieces of chicken, more than I was expecting. I guess the price on my card of 30.00+ should have been my first clue.
The cashier told me it would be a little bit of a wait. I watched videos and people watched at the food court. Very interesting place. Clean and bright, I felt like a stranger in a strange land.
After 30 min, I received a page to pick up my order. Chicken appeared very crunchy, packed over the rim of the small cardboard box.
I took my tray to my table and began to eat. The chicken was delicious. I confess, i ate more than i should have.
I highly recommend adding the sauce on the side. In my opinion, the chicken stands by itself, but as little sauce goes a long way. I opted for the garlic sauce, which seemed soy sauce based, slightly sweet but not overly garlic, just enough.
I wished I had ordered fries, but glad I didn't .
They did serve 2 plastic cups with a light pink contents. I thought it was watermelon at first. The liquid tasted like a lightly sweet vinegar brine, i think it was pickled daikon radish. Not bitter at all, nice and crunchy. A very pleasant offer to the chicken.
The restaurant had many other choices, all looked interesting and warrants further visits.
I have to admit, I have leftover chicken in my fridge and I'm going to eat it after writing this review.
I do recommend this place. I would encourage foodies to venture out of their comfort zone and delve into our rich culture in our city.

“A nice enough option in the food court of the Luxor hotel with everything from burgers, salads and sharing platters. Everything, in the morning at least, appears to be cooked to order so service time has a little wait, but you’re given a buzzer to return once everything is ready. Portion sizes are huge and as well as the food itself being tasty there’s a good variety of dips supplied for extra flavour. Loads of clean seating too so I’d happily return for a no fuss chicken fix.“
