Chill, no frills Laos restaurant. Food has always been good, can get spicy. Usually stick to 1-3 range.
Lao sausage with sticky rice is a must.
Service can be slow due to limited staff and if tables come in at the same time.
Our first time trying Laotian food and it was delicious! It’s more flavorful and umami than Thai food. Highly recommend the Lao style papaya salad and the Laos sausage.
Everything is made by the owner, Long. He is so kind and runs the store himself most of the time. Even though he was slammed the night we went, and set the expectation that it may be slower, we felt it was still fast and friendly service. Will be coming back to try more dishes!!

Spicy Lao Vegas is a chill, no frills Laos restaurant with authentic comfort food. The food has always been good and can get spicy. The Lao sausage with sticky rice is a must, and the Lao style papaya salad is highly recommended. Everything is made by the owner, who is kind and friendly, though service can be slow due to limited staff if tables come in at the same time. The food is more flavorful and umami than Thai food, with fair prices. The crab fried noodle was some of the best food, though consistency can be a gamble as the dish tasted different on a second visit. The cucumber thum, sausages, nam tok salad, egg rolls, and sticky rice were all good, and the beef jerky is also recommended. The owner runs the store himself most of the time, and the love in the place can be felt. It feels like home away from home, and it is a new favorite Lao spot in Vegas. All Lao people should come support and check this place out.
