About STG Bar & Grill

STG Bar & Grill is the newest dining option at Sam's Town Hotel and Casino, replacing Smoky Joe's. The restaurant has similarities to the previous place, but STG has more TVs showing current sports events and a nicer-looking bar. The place is very spacious, modern, clean and inviting. The bar is huge with many large screen TV's for sporting events, making it a great spot during football and basketball season, especially with the Race and Sports book right across.

The menu options are varied, ranging from pizza to barbecue to steak and pastas. Menu is reasonably priced and affordable. The Patty melt was great, even with the burnt taste on the patty, and the fries were good with a side of pickles. The Cajun Chicken Pasta was a big hit with huge portions, coming with a side of garlic toast and a nice mix of chicken, bacon, andouille sausage and cream sauce. The Chicken fried steak is 10/10 with perfect, soft meat and delicious gravy. The American breakfast is 10/10. The omelette with ham cheese, tomato, and jalapeño with hashbrowns and toast was excellent. The Tomato bisque is worth trying. The French toast was hard and dry. STG has good cocktails, including the Yes Captain, which is perfect for light drinkers. The service was great every time, whether to go or dine in, and the breakfast saved the day a couple times. The servers were all great and took care of guests during their visit.

I had the chicken fried steak and I was not Impressed with it at all the raspberry tea was good but all in all not that good
The Restaurant Smoky Joe's is no more in it place ( not exactly in the same place next to the animal reserve ) is this place. The two restaurants have similarities, but STG has more TVs showing current sports events and a nicer-looking bar. The food was great. The Patty melt I had was like any other patty melt should even with the burnt taste on the patty itself the fries were good and I liked that it comes with a side of pickles. STG has good cocktails but I couldn't drink today...read full review
