The food was reasonably good. Service was average. The place has a clean looking with high ceilings. But it feels like a bar or cafeteria. It doesn’t have the cozy environment for sushi.
We are pretty sure that Yama is one of the best, if not, the best for AYCE sushi in the valley. We still need to try Gorilla Sushi, but this place definitely stomps all over Neko, ITS, Sakana, etc.The key to getting the best experience at any of these places, is to order as much as you think you can eat all at one time, the first time your server takes your order. So-so across the board. Most of the rolls are pretty basic and even bland. The service is rushed, the tables and benches aren't the cleanest. However, there aren't that many all you can eat Sushi places for under $40. I liked that the appetizers and desserts and a few entrees were also included in the "all you can est sushi price."
