“One of the best, if not the best taco wagons we’ve found in all of Washoe County! I love tamales and always try them at Mexican restaurants, 9 out of 10 times they’re overfilled with masa and little to no meat and DRY. Not these at TMG- even my husband will eat these as he says all tamales are small, dry and full of masa. I’ve never ordered tamales from the same rest twice except here. Serving portion on all their food is grande. Cannot say I have a favorite dish here as I love the shrimp enchiladas and the tamales are top notch. My husband says the burritos are #1 but I always stick to the tamales and enchiladas. Some day I’ll try them! The enchiladas serve 2, and the tamales are the largest I’ve seen, so one served with rice & beans will have you filled!”

“Small little place with GREAT drinks!! We didn't buy pasties as we were just passing by but the two drinks that my husband and I got were 10/10.
They also stock Hidden Valley Honey, which I love, so that made me happy. Will probably make it a regular stop when we pass by!”

“This place is as hometown as it gets. Made from scratch menu offerings, genuinely friendly service, and the food is delicious. Then it comes to spring, summer and fall when you can enjoy this great food in the shaded patio, listening to birds and smelling the flora. As far as shady sales tactics mentioned in another review, it may have been a miscommunication and settled by a discussion instead of a poor review after the fact. I will add, I love the muffins being pushed because if not, I’d miss out on all of the clever combinations they offer. Further, they’re better early in the morning when they’re warm and very fresh!!!”

“We went to Ijji Noodle House for my birthday last night and I’m so glad we did! The food was delicious, but more than that the customer service was amazing! Our server, Alexander, was attentive without being overbearing and was so much fun! Brent, the bartender, made me a birthday martini with 4 olives! It actually was my first martini ever and it was so sweet of him. If you want a wonderful, enjoyable, relaxed meal and love noodles like I do, this is the place to go.”

“Freshest Donuts/Doughnuts anywhere! We get them for sure two times a year! Nevada Day and Christmas Tree 🎄 hunt day! They always have what kinds we like and they are truly scrumptious! The family is really nice too! This is a local family owned business for many years! We also get them other at times too just because! When I see that pink box, I know what I’m getting! Mmmmm”

“My wife and I have loved the Basil for years, for it’s delicious food, great service, and relaxing ambiance. I personally love the Basil because the food is always fresh, nutritious and great tasting. Recently we chose them to provide catering for a 35-person birthday celebration at our home. We were extremely impressed by the time and attention that Chai gave to the planning of our event. The result was a beautiful set-up of amazing food and appetizers. Our guests totally loved it! Whether it’s for a simple lunch, a romantic or family dinner, or all-out catering, we can’t recommend The Basil enough!”

“I'd hardly call myself a sushi connoisseur but Oishi Sushi might be the best I've had. Prompt service, reasonable pricing, sushi served on these really neat wooden serving trays (first was a bridge, second was a boat). Everything tasted fresh. Absolutely delicious. This is the only sushi place I've tried in Carson so I can't compare to the others nearby, but its as good as anything I've had in Reno.”

“I went to the Cracker Box for the 1st time always wanted to go. I have to say a nice little hole in the wall joint. It is a very small place and you are sitting right on top of people I am sure when it is crowded probably to much for me. The service was excellent on top of their game and very friendly. The food was ok I got the Chilli burger I probably wouldn't get that again. It isn't a place I would go to all the time because I don't like to feel crowded but I would go again and maybe try the breakfast I heard that is good. Go there about an hour before they close and you will be good if you don't like crowds. 1 last thing make sure u bring money it is cash only but they do have an ATM that was cool. I will give it 2 thumbs up 👍 👍”

“There is a huge wall of rotating taps and they have a little bit of just about everything— including three sour beers, which aren’t always available at other places. When I asked for a suggestion for the sours they poured me three tasters for the three different kinds they had and told me about the flavor profiles. There was no food, to my knowledge, but they do let you bring in outside food. Will return.”
