The food and service were excellent. My family and I placed a very large catering order with a little over 24 hours notice and they not only delivered, they DELIVERED exceeding expectations. Everything was excellent. We had fish, chicken, tamales, greens and more. Everyone in my family loved it, and they were fighting over the yams! lol. It was so much food, we had dinner and woke up eating it for breakfast ?
Rather I’m getting a solo lunch, or again feeding my 20+ family members, they are top of the list from now on!

The food is delicious and reminds me so much of true Louisiana style tamales. The indigenous people's influence can be seen and tasted in their recipes. So close to my Momo's recipe.
The only downside is the pricing. Like all restaurants, it is becoming unaffordable to go out when you want quantity. If you have the budget then this place has the quality and best tamales I've had outside of family kitchens. Worth the splurge.
This place is a gem. The food was so good that I went back the next day. My family was here from Seattle and they thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. We ordered the catfish, Mac n cheese, greens, fried chicken, beef tamales, fries, beans. And the ? pudding cake. Everything was fantastic. If I didn't live across town I would visit at least 3 times a week.

Food was very pricey and very not worth it i ordered a tamale bowl with chilli and cheese and first off the chilli was very salty and it was entirely to much chilli powder and the tamale batter was soft and soggy and you had made 2 tamale bowls with chilli and cheese and you brought out 1 tamale bowl with chilli and cheese out and 1 loaded tamale bowl which i never ordered and you took it back and brought back the same tamale bowl that i didnt order which r you removed all the items and just added chill and cheese I could’ve been allergic to the items you put on the bowl needs to pay attention now to her details im her food and it needs to be better communication with her and her husband with they orders very disappointed with the food heavy salt i feel like i totally lost money highly wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here sorry

Best Tamales I have had in a while. Nice size and fresh. I love the spicy beef and turkey. Great service as well. I will order 2 down next time very soon.

The atmosphere is only 2 stars because it’s not a dine-in facility. It’s a family owned business and the tamales were very good. They were very friendly and the customer service was great. It’s best to call ahead and order and when you arrive they will bring out your order.
