About Tierra y Sazón

Based on the reviews, Tierra y Sazón is a hole-in-the-wall spot that doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food is delicious and full of flavor. The restaurant has two pool tables, a speaker with music, and karaoke. The service is very nice, attentive, and thoughtful. The waitress is very nice and attentive. Josué and Josh are friendly. The food is very fresh and authentic. Specific meals mentioned include pupusas (ruvelto & chicharón), tacos, fresh-made fruit drinks, a fresh and clean papaya juice drink, shrimp cocktail, and horchata. The curtido isn't fermented, but the pupusas and the sauces are delicious despite. Pupusas are cheaper on Mondays for a special, but they are already really affordable other days. This is the best food and nicest family restaurant on this side of the border. Mercedes is a beautiful soul and Marvin made customers feel like family. Highly recommended.

Oh my goodness they were so nice and their food is absolutely so delicious!!! You should also try their Salvadoran Horchata! It’s made with nuts. It’s amazing.
Tierra y Sazon serves authentic pupusas with a warm, savory aroma, golden crisp edges, and a soft, melty center packed with rich, comforting flavor. Come taste their tender, satisfying texture and find your new favorite.
Went on the recommendation of the attendant at Base Camp Reno. Our server was such a great hostess. Kids played pool. Then we watched the first half of France vs..Morocco. I had two delicious pork tamales.
