This not Brenda's first time, but it is mine. And, I love it! The food is amazing, the staff is incredibly awesome, and the atmosphere, just as one should expect at a great Italian restaurant. Ali (our server) is a great fit. The staff is extremely pleasant, friendly and welcoming. We'll be back!

First time there. Perfect for a first date. Nice and fancy, but not so much so that it felt awkward and uncomfortable. Perfect for a long getting-to-know-you conversation volume and length of time at the table. And lots of big real smiles about the incredible food!

Tried Johnny’s Ristorante Italiano after a friend recommended it — and wow, it was so good! I made the mistake of not making a reservation (I should’ve known it was going to be good or a long wait when they’re only open a few hours in the evening), but luckily the wait was only about 45 minutes. The service was great and the pasta was amazing. We did try the garlic bread, but it was kind of burnt and just okay, so I’d skip that next time. That said, I’ll definitely be back because the pasta alone was worth it!

My husband and I took a parents only vacation to Reno, we heard that Johnny's has the best Italian cuisine in Reno so we decided to check it out! We ordered the penne sorento and the stuffed pork chop, the food was amazing! Our server Ali was awesome! She was attentive, and gave great food and drink suggestions😊 We told her we were from out of town and she gave us some recommendations of some fun bars and places we needed to visit! We are hoping to squeeze in one more trip to Johnny's before we leave and try some other dishes🤗 we will recommend this place to anyone visiting Reno and will for sure come back next time we are here!

Amazing food and atmosphere. Every time I come here with my wife I feel like I am truly at home. The only thing missing is my grandparents at the dinner table with me. We are blessed to have such an authentic place to dine at in town. Thank you for continuing to serve our community with amazing food and truly a space that feels like I am at home.
Food was awesome my veil was cooked to perfection tasted amazing, service staff were right there when you needed them, atmosphere was a tad crowded but our table was at the window so my better half loved it for her birthday.

Came in yesterday evening with 4 friends to celebrate sobriety milestones. Our whole table recently quit drinking and this was a celebration of such for those individual milestones. I will say the food was incredible but thats where the positives stopped.
As soon as our server Allie realized we weren't ordering alcohol her whole demeanor changed. She kept cracking jokes about our iced teas and sodas, as if any of us care about your sideways thinking. We had to beg the server assistant for a refill on our water and non alcoholic drinks. Throught the course of the meal, she didnt come to check on our appetizers or entrees once, NOT ONCE. And was in such a rush to get us out she cleared our bruschetta off the table eith bread and tomatoes still on the plate. Yet she was giddy as a school girl with an awesome attitude with the two other tables beside us drinking wine and martinis. She even checked to make sure their meal was delicious. Then it came time to split the check amongst the couples in our group. Guess thats too much work also because she complained how she could only split it two ways.
Shame, had she given a care about us we are all high level hospitality employees and probably would have given much more than the tables drinking just based on the food we consumed.
That server assistant with the long hair deserves a raise. Heck, I'd hire him for my place.
Hopefully she doesn't treat everyone this way.
