This bar is an awesome little hole in the wall aptly named "The Local". It' s a clean bar with excellent service. My favorite bartender, Sidney is always super fast with my regular night cap of PBR and a shot of whiskey. No matter how busy it is, she takes less than 5 minutes to get me another round. In regards to the guy complaining about the service animal not being allowed in the bar...I happened to be there that night, and that is NOT what happened..AT ALL. I have been coming here for a long time. There have been changes and it looks great. The one thing that hasn't changed is Rhonda! She always makes things fun and makes me laugh! You can tell the customers love her. It's always been like that! Thank you for all you do Rhonda!

I went with a friend last night- it's the closest bar open late near the movie theaters- and had a great time. Yes, it's a bit divey in atmosphere. It's a small brain Sparks, after all. The bartender was really welcoming and capable, and all the patrons were friendly. After a little joking around , they left us alone to talk. A really welcoming atmosphere.The smoke was a little thick for my tastes, but not outside the average for bars.
