“Old Timey Ice Cream, with their restored John Deere "Hit and Miss" engine powered ice cream maker takes me back to when I was a kid, going to county fairs. Simple treats in times that are a little more complicated than they used to be. John and Jennifer are perfect hosts and they usually have a few helpers working with them that are just happy, awesome people. After all, who doesn't like ice cream cones, waffles and sundaes, cotton candy and smiling faces?Seek them out, you'll thank yourself for it.”
“Whether it's eating in, delivery or pick up they are always super nice! I love that we can order the gluten-free cauliflower crust pizza with whatever toppings and it's always good!”
“Besides the amazing energy I get from this hard working family, I love their food. Huge portions and great taste, always suffices my boys at home when running behind on mom-duty. Thank you for my last minute late night order, I appreciate you.”
“Fun place to go have lunch breakfast or dinner. You can get your ice and drinks before you go golfing.Parking: I'm handicap, so they have good handicap parking... when they don't park golf carts in them!”
“Great food exactly what you'd expect from this kind of Mexican restaurant. Good service pictures everything on the menu so you know what you're getting.”
“Absolutely love it here. The baristas are always so kind and caring. They are always working as fast as they can, with a smile on their face. Kind of spendy but totally worth it!”
“New to town and decided to check out the Chinese food here. All the dishes we ordered were fantastic. The cheese wontons, mongolian beef, sesame chicken, house special lo mein with the plain fried rice. Mixing and matching the beef with the noodles and the rice was a flavor bomb! Same goes with the chicken. SO good!”
“Great local bar. The service was stellar. The waitress was very good and humorous. Great drinks. I only tried food from my son's and daughter in laws plate, but it was really good.”
“Workers were super friendly and made my sandwich exactly how I asked them with no problems, even gave me some really good recommendations to try on my sandwich. Will definitely be coming ”
“I heard about this place from a co-worker and decided to drive 200 miles to try this place out. Definitely worth the drive and weather. The burger was well worth it. The meat to bun ratio was spot on. The patty was the perfect blend of meat to fat. Juicy but not so much that can cause the bun to go soggy or run down your arms to ruin your shirt. The fries are something else, hand made. Not like steak fries, and not limmpy ones like "In & Out," but a nice 8th inch slice. Perfectly deep fried golden brown with a nice crisp. Only real down side to me is, not enough salt. But in their defense, my blood pressure isn't high enough. Thinking of a heart attack at 45.”
“This was our fourth or fifth visit to The Pine Lodge. We go when we're in Elko. The food is always great. This time, my wife had the elk lasagna, and I had the marinated venison medallions. Both were excellent! The medallions were perfectly medium rare, tender, juicy, and not at all gamy. I don't know if the venison had been dry aged, but it certainly tasted like it. It was probably the best venison I've ever had. The service was quick, efficient, and cheerful. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. We will be going back next year.”
“This has become my favorite place. I wish it were closer then could go out there more. All of the staff are wonderful and the people i have met are like family now. And that DJ in Friday Nights he's great!! And sexy!??”
