The new menu and chef can't be compared. The food is amazing and service great.
the delta saloon is always a favorite place of mine to visit in Virginia city today was my first time back in about 8 years as always I loved seeing the suicide table and enjoyed their delicious drinks
ive always heard bad things because of the previous owners. but now that it is under new management i am eager to work there.
But, they have not contactef me even tho i have tried multiple times. I worked at the mark twain for so many of these events and would be an asset to the Delta saloon on many levels. so i recommend the Delta to everyone even if they dont hire me.

Based on the reviews, The Delta Saloon and Casino offers a true Saloon atmosphere with gambling machines, a bar, a small stage for performances, and magnificent historic items like the suicide table and antique globe. The dining area is next door and connected, with double doors separating it from the saloon’s band and game machines, which can get loud and chaotic. The food is described as really good and homemade, with thick fries. Specific meals mentioned include a prime rib with potatoes and vegetables, a New York steak that was boneless and cooked almost rare, elk, fried chicken that looked like two lollipops, and a fish dish that was really amazing. The Mac and cheese had a smoky sauce with a nice taste of nutmeg. A cocktail called the lavender lemon drop was also enjoyed. The price is reasonable for a steakhouse and for the amount of food received, though some found items like eggs with no meat to be expensive. Service received mixed reviews, with one hostess going above and beyond and one server being very attentive, while another waitress did not provide good service.
