La Serre

LaSerre never disappoints! Our server, John, was knowledgeable, courteous and attentive without being obtrusive and the food is always phenomenal from appetizer through dessert! We will continue to return. If you have never been there, treat yourself; you will NOT be disappointed!

I have been visiting La Serre for 15 years, whenever I am back in Albany, and it is always an excellent experience in all respects; great traditional French cuisine in a really unique environment. The service was amazing and the bartender was quick to greet and seat me. The menu was not as french as I thought it would be. They did have escargot, pate, duck a l'orange, and beef bourguignon. I had the beef bourguignon, it was good, not fancy and it was a huge portion. I had a glass of the malbec which at first taste was unnoticeable as a malbec. There were only 2 french reds by the glass which surprised me.
