So I have to tell you this was my first time here and because of how many people hate on this place I almost passed it up. When we came in on Sunday night, were seated promptly. We were greeted by Elijah, and yes, it took him a few minutes to get to us, but I could clearly see he was busy he wasn’t chatting or ignoring us. I knew he was one of three servers on that night. I had dinner on this restaurant last night; the food was good and the service was okay, not as good as I expected it. I pointed out to the waitress that there was a small rat around the restaurant and he did not seem to care, then I told the host about the small rat in the restaurant and again she did not care.
We visited based on a friend's raving of this place.
Here's what we thought as we visit a lot of restaurants in the capital district.
1. Vibe and layout. Cool. Bar was neat. All the TVs were good.
2. Staff. Seemed attentive. Not sure because a corporate wig was there that day. But I will say service was on point.
3. Food. We're gonna go. Just ok. I had Shepard's pie. Wife had shrimp...
