This place is a dive but a good one. Love the beef weck. If you're into rye whiskey, I recommend New Scotland distillery rye. This bar is an experience, must go.

Honestly not what I expected, bartender was wasted & basically told us he couldn’t do his job by saying “it’s just me” I got don’t order anything other then beer type of vibes plus I couldn’t even order food because they were out of majority of the stuff on the menu according to the bartender. Then I went back in to use the restroom & got asked why my husband didn’t leave a tip, uhm maybe because we were greeted with a drunk bartender that clearly made us feel super uncomfortable, avoid avoid avoid.

What a legendary experience. We were at Hill St Cafe and called to see if they had garbage plates and they did! We were with a friend from Australia that hadn't had a Garbage Plate before so they cooked one up with home fries, Mac salad and burgers that was absolutely delicious. An experience that will never be forgotten and we all appreciate it!!!

Top Albany bar. Only serves drink and fare from NY State. Our bartender Adam made some incredible wings and was super friendly. Small and very intimate atmosphere; frankly a breath of fresh air compared to other bars in the area. Can’t wait to go back!

I used to live in Albany and this place opened right before I moved. I remember it being a good place to hang out and get some bar food but nothing too great. I recently went to visit Albany after years of being away and I don't know what happened but this place is on another level now. The food is unbelievably good and the owner might be the best bartender ever.

Great little spot. Beer and liquor are all from NY companies. Great selection. Food is delicious comfort food. Pizza logs were delicious, especially with the meat sauce/gravy that comes on a few of the dishes. Bartender was great. Knowledgeable and friendly. Locals were great as well.

This place is great. The food was fantastic and meeting up my with my friends here is always an attraction. They've got trivia night on Thursdays which draws an incredible crowd of people from a variety of generations. They have such things on their menu as a garbage plate, a compost pile, and of course my favorite the good old steamed ham. Truly a treat and a delight. Come here and bring your friends the prices are always right and the staff is always friendly and polite.
