Was fixin' to try something new and walked 8 minutes from where i work. Was met with the most warm air and pleasant smelling aroma of the food of my people. Was greated by a tall older man who called me sugar and took my order like he knew me from birth. i ordered the Mac and cheese, collards and smothered chicken, and washed it all down with a watermelon mint cooler. he told me to buy another one, and i should've listened because i did down it all before i got back into the office....read full review
This was the best soul food spot I have been to in a year , now that I live upstate.. the service was great the food was amazing.. everything was clean and warm .. This is my new food spot from now on. Thank you guys so much. The term you put your foot in that dish -had your place in mind.. I will see you next

Holy lip smacking good batman lol. I went through on my lunch break. I will 100% be going back. The food is phenomenal. I hdd the smothered chicken with beans and rice. The sauce is soooo good. I don't really like Mac n cheese. But theirs is excellent. And the green beans are the best I have ever had. I don't know how they prepare them but damn good. Do yourselves a favor and get some food from here. You will not be disappointed.
