“Holy lip smacking good batman lol. I went through on my lunch break. I will 100% be going back. The food is phenomenal. I hdd the smothered chicken with beans and rice. The sauce is soooo good. I don't really like Mac n cheese. But theirs is excellent. And the green beans are the best I have ever had. I don't know how they prepare them but damn good. Do yourselves a favor and get some food from here. You will not be disappointed.“
“Had dinner there last night and it was excellent. This is the location of the former Lombardo's restaurant on lower Madison Avenue. This is a new Albany location of the legendary Hattie's in Saratoga Springs, which has been serving up southern fare since the early 1930s. There is off-street parking next to the restaurant and in a lot directly across the street. Ambiance inside is lively and the renovations in the space kept many of the old Albany elements with a mix of New Orleans, all updated and welcoming. The cocktail I had - a Vieux Carre - was mixed to perfection. Jambalaya, grit cakes, key lime pie all outstanding. Friends had the famous fried chicken and the ribs - rave reviews. Excellent service. Highly recommended.Parking: Next to the restaurant and across the street.“
“This was our first time @ Kitchen 216.The staff welcomed us & were very friendly despite being busy.The food was prepared to order.We went with the following meals; sweet jerk & teriyaki baked chicken, fried chicken & fried shrimp. Our sides were Mac & cheese, candied yams and corn bread. Everything tasted Delicious!We will be back to have the collard greens as with this trip they were all out.Definitely a hidden gem in the 518!! ☺️“
“I from long island and there is no better soul food in the upstate capital district then here the yams corn bread mac and cheeses shrimp bbq chicken and turkey wings oh and cat fish is my favs oh and the staff is wonderful the owner is so great always smiling she has such a good soul the main reason why i come when i don't cook myself. This is my go to when im fasting or need a good home cook meal God bless all if u that put this food together and that goes the extra mile for your customers definitely 5 stars oh and did i mention its very clean they wear gloves and always have their hair covered and yes im a pickie person so they are great ??????“
“I went to Ms Lizzie's today for breakfast with my Bestie and OMG, that shit was Delish!!!! The service and hospitality was impeccable !!! The place was clean and the staff were very pleasant!!! I had fish and grits ( they gave me a Choice between whiting or haddock) I chose haddock . Big piece of fish and it was NOT battered!!!! It was fried and seasoned to perfection!! This place is 5 generations Deep, in history !!! My Bestie got the one on one, ( one pancake, one piece of French toast, choice between grits or home fries, and eggs they had no problem with her substituting her order!!!! It was a Wonderful meal!! They also serve soul food and make soups fresh daily !!! You can order dinner OR Bkfst thru out the day!!!! Turkey Wings, she can't keep them,,,,,ppl order like 4 orders at a time !! This place is a Must!!!!!“

“A southern brunch that was so good. 4 of us went to celebrate a birthday and we all enjoyed it immensely. I had the Dad and it was absolutely delicious. We loved the fried green tomatoes, and the tater tots. I had a bourbon bacon bloody Mary that was out of this world. I can't wait to go back!Parking: Street parking was available and they have a lot behind the building.“
