Had an amazing experience at Villa di Como! The food, drinks, and service were all outstanding. The cheesecake is hands down the best on the planet, absolutely unforgettable! Everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff made us feel so welcome. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

We chose the tasting menu ($98 per person) and left very disappointed by the overall value.
The main issue was portion size. Almost all of the appetizer courses appeared to be much smaller than their regular menu counterparts, only 1/3 or 1/2 of the original size. The octopus, garlic bread, and meatballs were all served in noticeably reduced portions compared to the standard menu versions, while the spring mix was one of the few items that seemed more generously portioned. The photo is the Octopus appetizer, and you can tell from the plate size how small the portion is. I was shocked and disappointed about the food so didn’t take any photo beforehand.
The food taste was fine, but nothing stood out enough to justify the price, especially given the portion sizes. Based on the menu pricing, ordering the same dishes individually would likely cost about the same while providing substantially larger portions.
Service was friendly. However, I would strongly recommend ordering from the regular menu rather than the tasting menu.
One of my worst dining experiences in last 10 years.

I can’t share too many details about my experience other than the fact that I made a birthday reservation for 8pm (Mind you, you have to give your credit card to hold the reservation) Only to walk in right on time and be told that their kitchen is closed. We drove a long way for this - A call would have been nice but clearly they don’t care about their patrons. What an awful experience. Thank you for ruining this birthday dinner.

If you're looking for an amazing dining experience while in Albany, don't miss Villa di Como! Our experience was wonderful from the moment we walked in the door. Matteo was our bartender/server. He made us feel at home and every dish he suggested was outstanding. I had the prosciutto and arugula pizza (delicious!) and my husband had the chicken parmagiana (he loved it!). For appetizers we shared garlic bread, calamari, and a burrito salad. Everything we ate was superb, but please do not skip dessert. I didn't catch his name, but there is a delightful Turkish man who works there and bakes cheesecake for them. It was the lightest and best tasting cheesecake we've ever eaten!!!! Everything about our experience here was outstanding. We will be sending all of our friends your way. ❤

I dined in this amazing establishment four years ago for my oldest son’s graduation from Albany. To say it was one of my most memorable meals is an understatement. From the welcoming atmosphere, superior service and delectable food, it was one of the type five dining experiences of my life. I have been to Italy and this food brought back so many memories. For the last four years I have dreamt of this restaurant and I am happy to say that I am dining there again tonight for my youngest son’s graduation from Albany! If you are near the area or pass through you will not be disappointed.

wow. oh my god. I haven’t had carbonara this good since I was in Europe and BOY it exceeded my expectations. the limoncello and orangecello were marvelous. and the polpetta (meatballs) were so tender and delicious they fell apart when you cut into them. also best cheesecake I’ve ever had. this is the kind of food you dream about. so much care goes into this food and it shows ❤️ best authentic Italian in the 518 without a doubt.
