Stopped in today for lunch with my wife. This place is AWESOME!! Delicious subs, warm rolls with just the right amount of crisp. Home made mac salad was on point! I would dine here again and again. Owner is super friendly and has a great personality. FIVE STARS!!!
These sandwiches are so good for just being so simple. The price is good for how much you get. You can use card/cash and csa super convenient. One annoying thing is you have to get drinks from a vending machine so that's a little bit of a turn off. The workers are pretty cool but once the shop is closed they're closed no exceptions.

Ellen (owner) adds her own home cooking touch to the menu with Mac salad, veggie salad, her own tuna salad and chicken salad subs. Her 1/2 subs are the size of a whole sub anywhere else. Best value in Alfred I think. I've been eating lunch here 2-3x/week and haven't had a bad meal yet. 4 stars only because of the limited menu, but she has no choice at the moment due to the pandemic reducing her customer demand.
