It's nothing fancy but it's a must stop when you're in the Allegny or Olean area. The Burton Burger has won best burger in the state and it's fantastic. Just a burger on a toasted bun letting the flavor shine. Bring cash. On the tavern side of things, the usual suspects for beer with a few local craft options as well.

Only place in the Olean Allegany area to get a great burger and be served by the best bar tenders ever. They always have a great smile and know how to welcome everyone.
Always a great place to meet people and have a drink. Zach, the bartender is the greatest! Really makes you feel welcome.

My first visit to this local tavern & eatery. The pub staff person,Zach is a great guy that I've had the pleasure of knowing for years so he gave me a bit of the back ground on the building. A favorite beer, Blueberry of Ellicottville was on tap and cold. All that it was missing was a handful of fresh blueberries to sit on the small head of foam when served! Let's talk about the renowned Burton Burger however...??It was EVERYTHING that I was told that it was! Amazing! I opted for the Swiss & Mushroom burger! It was served to my satisfaction which is NOT OVERCOOKED and it tasted great! It was huge,flavorful and quite juicy. The sign of a great burger! It was coupled with a huge basket of curly fries that I couldn't finish. The crowd was small for a Monday evening but that was nice too. I met two gal friends there, so it was refreshing to not have loud blaring music and rowdy patrons!Great first experience, Burton! Thank you!
