It's nothing fancy but it's a must stop when you're in the Allegny or Olean area. The Burton Burger has won best burger in the state and it's fantastic. Just a burger on a toasted bun letting the flavor shine. Bring cash. On the tavern side of things, the usual suspects for beer with a few local craft options as well.
My first visit to this local tavern & eatery. The pub staff person,Zach is a great guy that I've had the pleasure of knowing for years so he gave me a bit of the back ground on the building. A favorite beer, Blueberry of Ellicottville was on tap and cold. All that it was missing was a handful of fresh blueberries to sit on the small head of foam when served! The Burton is a Bonaventure staple , if your intown for a game or even a quick vist , you absolutely need to stop and grab a Burton Buger and a beer and reminisce about your days at Bonaventure. Make the Burton your pre game stop , GO
