“It's nothing fancy but it's a must stop when you're in the Allegny or Olean area. The Burton Burger has won best burger in the state and it's fantastic. Just a burger on a toasted bun letting the flavor shine. Bring cash. On the tavern side of things, the usual suspects for beer with a few local craft options as well.“

“Fish Fry is fantastic!! I had the panko, baked pot(butter & sc) Cole slaw. Added 3 fantailed shrimp to try. It was so good, w/the panko. Nice & crispy. These are all dipped and cooked to order, not predone. They had other kinds of fish & the other special if the night was lasagna. Seating is small & I seen alot of to go orders flying out the door. We will definitely be going back.“

“The Hickey and Lou are Allegany legends. Good ole small town bar at it's best. Excellent bands and music all the time, with open mic and acoustic jams. I know there is a Facebook page with updates on who's playing when. Nothing fancy, just strong drinks and good times.“

“I was very happy with everything here, the food was great the French toast was a lot larger of a portion than I would have thought it said 2 pieces but it was so large and cut right it felt like 4 and the shredded hash browns were cooked to perfection our sweet waitress with long brown hair and ponytail holding it back which I didn’t get her name was attentive and polite and perfect. Thank you for a great last meal in the area before heading home.“

“Everything was delicious! Alcohol in general was a bit expensive but to be expected. Our waitress was nice and attentive. we went in at about 2pm and their wasn't many people. I had the Nacho Hamburgeresa and we'd definitely come again.“

“We had our Christmas party there. It was so much fun. I love the way they had us seated. Everyone could talk and be heard. The food was great. I had the chicken and bisque. It was delicious. I will definitely order it again. Thank you Liberty Tavern for a great Christmas party.“

“Friendly atmosphere, confident workers, gives new meaning to the hospitality industry. The beer is always cold and food is always hot, well maybe not the salads. The manager there she runs the place with an iron fist and they know employees know if they don't do a good job, bye-bye. One of the few places I know of where the manager is also the bouncer.“

“The food at this small place was delicious. I came to St. Bonaventure, and this was the only place open on Sunday that had some vegan options. I was pleasantly surprised with the food at this place. I got the B-Rad burrito which was very delicious. I couldn't eat it all so I took it home and it was just as good the next day!“

“Had the Beer Battered Fish Fry with coleslaw and onion rings with petal sauce….Absolutely fantastic, fish was tender and moist without being greasy. Great flavor in the coleslaw good balance of acidity. Petal sauce was perfect. Waitress was super friendly and service was very quick…only took about 10-15 mins after ordering for food to be served. Highly recommend.“

“I'm not really sure who bought the half way but I've been going there for years and he has completely changed things from the very much better. Put on some great outdoors patios that over looking the valley. I love it best at sunset. Good food and good service and people. If you wanna see it at it's best go in the fall when all of the leaves are in color just absolutely beautiful sitting outside on the patio.“
