Serevan Restaurant Reviews
Amazing food, atmosphere and a very welcoming chef!
What a beautiful location. The food was creative, thoughtful, and delicious. And the service was kind and caring with Serge taking special care with every table. And the open kitchen? Calm, clean, and collected with happy people working it! We can’t wait to be regular guests.
What an amazing dining experience! When food becomes more than a meal! Exquisite flavors from authentic herbs and spices plus top quality ingredients. Presentation was appealing as we eat with our eyes first, a true sensory journey to Iran, and Armenia. Chef owner Serge visited our table to greet us and chat about his signature dishes. This is a must go to spot in northeast Dutchess county!
Serevan Restaurant is a hidden gem in the Hudson River Valley, offering an exquisite dining experience. The restaurant's owner and head chef, Serge Madikians, ensures that every guest feels like family, accommodating all dietary requirements, including vegan options. The menu features inventive and exotic dishes, expertly plated like artwork, using flavors and spices inspired by Persian, Armenian, and Mediterranean cuisines. Standout dishes include the poached and roasted carrots, yogurt soup, and baked duck in basmati rice. The ambiance is quaint and charming, with a beautiful decor that will impress art enthusiasts. While some guests may find the seating by the window a bit chilly, the restaurant's warm atmosphere and passionate chef make up for it. With exceptional food, Serevan Restaurant is a must-visit destination, perfect for special occasions or a romantic evening out. Be sure to try the Armenian Coffee cake for dessert and engage in a conversation with the chef if possible.
