“Just had an amazing meal withJamison salmon and all the sides. Salad bar and potatoes..I usually have something to take home. Not tonight. Just so good! We have been going to the Angelica Hotel for over 40 years..never had a bad meal there and Stephanie and her staff are so nice and caring.“
“You can usually ask for the barnyard special, even if it isn't the current special. Do it! It is a grilled sandwich with ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese in it. I once told a couple about it. Next thing I knew, everyone was eating it. Everyone thanked me before I left. An entire dining area approves!“
“Went there for my nephews 21st birthday celebration. It was nice to see familiar faces and be able to mingle with other patrons through the night.Staff were great! I got fryer food and a mushroom Swiss burger. Which were all great. My brother in law got cole slaw which tasted like straight up onions. But it would not deter me from trying it in the future may have been a fluke batch.“
“An underrated gem! My husband and I stopped here for a quick lunch last week. I had the rockburger with curly fries and loved it. We split a railcar sundae after, it was chocolate/coffee/peanut butter ice cream with whipped cream, cherries, & Oreos for the wheels — so creative! Their prices are fantastic, much better than bigger chains in the area.They are cash only which we personally resonated with, go prepared!“
“I've been to Mike's twice now, the second time I ordered the 14 ounce prime rib. It was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. The servers were great both times as well and there was no rush for us to leave when we were finished eating. Oh, and the brussel sprouts were amazing.“
“We stood in the rain, wind and cold. The line was long but..... it was worth the wait! The buckwheat pancakes were thin disks of heaven with real butter and real maple syrup perfection drizzled all over. The sausage was flavorful and bacon was cooked just the way we like it. We ate all you could eat buckwheat pancakes until we were bursting at the seams but..... maple milk shake!? Had one to go and split with my husband. We had a little room left for this yummy drink confection. Service was excellent. We also enjoyed the little museum in the basement.“
