“If you're looking for a classic diner, Texas Hot is definitely worth the stop. The Texas dogs were excellent, and the peanut butter cream pie was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. The service was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
The only thing to keep in mind is that they do not accept credit or debit cards. They only take cash or checks, so be sure to come prepared. Other than that, I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!“

“So recently went here for my birthday and omg, the extra sweet and friendly staff were awesome. And it pleases me to say, very patient when it comes to myself and my indecisive crew. Lol, but they made sure their questions were detailed and showed us what each size looks like of both cone and cup and offered cups with cones to help us not to make a mess. The place is amazingly clean, smells like heaven, and always a nice treat on a long walk.“

“We have heard so many great things about this restaurant and we were able to finally visit today. Wow were we impressed! From the friendly staff greeting us the moment we walked in the door to the awesome daily specials, and great menu. The service was efficient and prompt and the food was served hot and delicious. We started with a cup of Prime Rib French Onion soup and wow, it was absolutely delicious. The brisket was the best we’ve had and the homemade bbq sauce was perfect. The beef on weck sandwich was so tender and flavorful. We would highly recommend this place. Everything was homemade and no shortcuts are taken here at all. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended!!“
