“Went there yesterday with my Granddauther and her boyfriend and John. I had the Ruben sandwish and it was the best ruben I ever had. The bread was so good, will be getting that again. We always go there if we have company. It's such a nice place and I love the outdoor dining. Of course it was raining yesterday and couldn't sit outside. Next time.“
“This review is based on Covid-19 regulations and thus our food was take-out. Thus this review is on the food quality and service. I ordered a beef on weck sandwich and my husband ordered a hot roast beef sandwich that included choices of sides. His chosen sides were french fries and a garden salad. When we picked up the order, it was hot and ready to go. The food was well packaged in styrofoam containers and bagged. Everything in our order was delicious and prepared from quality lean cuts of meats. Though this was not our first time at Charlies, it was my first review. There are lots of great family owned restaurants in Emporium but don’t forget about this little gem for homestyle fresh cooked meals.“

“The food is fabulous. I got a roast beef platter that was so fresh and affordable. The service was so friendly. Also absolutely love the gift section, with really pretty knits and cool hand made things. Looks like they sell fresh baked goods too, but I didn't get a chance to try them. Definitely going to be a regular stop for us!“
“It was a very comfortable clean and relaxing stay. The new owners have worked hard to improve the customer experience and are love customer experience feedback to keep improving. We need more family owned businesses like this in our communities. Oh, and the food is great home cooking!“

“the taste of the wings tonight was nonexistent. 3 dozen wings of varying flavors all tasted like plain. the ranch dressing was like water. I hope this is not the norm going forward now that the previous cook has left.“
