2nd time at Oakley's Pizza and Grill. About a year ago my wife and I were driving around the area and taking in the beautiful scenery. We were hungry and came upon Oakley. The wings, calamari and pizza we ate were outstanding. Today we were thinking of where to go and decided not to turn towards Woodstock and instead to go to "that place we ate at last year". We eat at Oakley's Place every time we visit Margaretville. I hesitate to share my true opinion because I don't want to create long, long lines to wait for a table but... it needs to be said: Oakley's has pizza better than the local pizzerias in my Brooklyn neighborhood. The word "better" does not capture the superior experience of eating this pizza. But for Brooklyn reference, it would be as if Grimaldis Pizza (the one by the Brooklyn Bridge) and Patsy's Pizza had a pizza baby....read full review
Every time I visit home I am sure to come to Oakley’s. The pizza is fantastic, the staff are always friendly and accommodating and if you’re lucky they’ll be live music. Indoor and outdoor seating. Cannot forget to mention their spectacularly clean bathrooms. If you’re ever in the neighborhood do yourself a favor and stop by Oakley’s.
