“2nd time at Oakley's Pizza and Grill. About a year ago my wife and I were driving around the area and taking in the beautiful scenery. We were hungry and came upon Oakley. The wings, calamari and pizza we ate were outstanding. Today we were thinking of where to go and decided not to turn towards Woodstock and instead to go to "that place we ate at last year". We did not realize that we had to drive 35 miles to go to Oakley, and we were so glad we did. The food was great and the service was amazing. That wood burning oven turns out amazing pizza, the wings were as good as we remembered, and even the garden salad was delicious! My wife and I agreed the the 70 mile round trip was worth it.Highly recommended“
“A nice experience with excellent food and service. The bar and dining room are separated relatively effectively through a right angle hallway with a shared men's room. The ladies' room is right up front by the entrance. It's really in an awful spot, pretty much in the dining room, but as I said the place is small. The food was very good with reasonable prices. The service was excellent. And, as the place is also a bar, any drink or beer you want is available. The atmosphere was super quiet and respectful. We'll be back.“
“I have eaten in this restaurant numerous times for lunch and dinner, and have never been disappointed. It is family run and a delight to visit. The food and service is excellent. Last night I had the spoon roast and it was the best I have ever had.Parking: Street is generally available and there is a town parking lot for free across the street“
“Great little place. We were there 30 minutes before opening and the lady let us in anyway. She was running back AND front of house. She had the bar, our table, and cooked our food because the server wasn't in yet. We sat by the fireplace. The pizza was delicious. The only thing was the country music. Awful. Lol.“
“The food was incredible. We got the chicken skillet for two. It was an entire chicken which we were not expecting. Seasoned so beautifully and paired with roasted potatoes, onions and garlic. So good. Romantic atmosphere. Just a little too dark for me but my eyes aren’t the best. Loved this dinner and so happy we came!“
“My wife and I loved an affordable, comfy, and clean place to stay while we skied at Belleayre. Coffee in the AM was great and were total coffee snobs! We used to frequent this area several years ago and a few things have since closed down, meaning you’ll need to drive over to Arkville for general supplies. Most places nearby seemed to open around 8am and close on the earlier side. Although we visited during the week and saw that they would make you breakfast on the weekend.Expect traditional Catskills lodging. We’ve eaten at the tavern in the past and it was great. Didn’t make it on our last visit.“
“Had breakfast here with my niece. It's an interesting place, neat concept. I'm tall so the ceiling in main walk in felt tight. You pour your own coffee, and sit yourself. It's a bit confusing if your a new commer to the place, like I was. The food is ok, I like Breakfast out, so I can say it was good but nothing special. It felt old, and could use some sprusing up, but was clean.I give it 4 stars and would try there lunch menu, when I'm back in the area.“
