The mango passionfruit mousse had a coconut base which was a little too sweet but the tanginess from the mousse balanced it well. Overall, it’s a decent spot to go to for those sweet cravings.“

Tangy Raspberry preserves made from scratch by Jaclyn as well between the layers. Everyone who ate a piece of my birthday cake could not be more satisfied with the level of artistry in the decoration as well as the execution of the taste of the cake itself. I immediately thought of Huascar and asked if he could do it. I traveled to Florida with them and they were a hit. We called ahead to check if they were open, and the staff answered immediately and were incredibly helpful. “As charming as the bakery is, it pales in comparison to Miss Eleanor, the owner. Over the past several years I developed a sensitivity to wheat, so I wanted a gluten-free snack. She had a wide selection of sweets (cupcakes, cookies, brownies) but I saw the picture of biscuits and quickly decided to enjoy them with my coffee.

I took Ms Eleanor up on her offer to warm them up and chatted while waiting for my order to be complete. We had a lovely conversation about so many things - food, travel, career changes.

The biscuits were delicious and very reasonably priced so I’ll have to make my way back soon.

“The Asian American person across the counter was soooo warm and kind, she made me wanna visit again. She made me a pretty hot fudge sundae with vanilla chocolate twist and whipped cream, cherry. She was extremely patient with our customizations (I visited first time). This place does not feel like a chain at all and has a very neighborhood shop feel to it. The ice cream is great in taste and smooth in texture but too huge for medium size. I will get a small next time. The prices are very affordable and worth the experience.“

The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. I ordered a cappuccino, 2 Grand Opening cupcakes, and a box of macarons for my bf and I to share and it was all sooo good.

The cupcakes had a passionfruit icing/paste that I could tell was made with real passionfruit on the inside and the cake was the perfect texture and moisture level. As good as the cupcakes were though, the real star of the show was the macarons. They were out of this world. We tried one of every flavor and I was not let down. My favorites were the fruity pebbles and the earl grey.
