Peppermints serves generous portions - my favorites include their Greek influenced options. Fries are offered as the side - I suggest substituting one of the vegetable offerings. Peppermints does substitutions without questions, allowing you to make healthier choices. Kids' menu is reasonably priced. Coffee was a gourmet treat from a local roaster. It's been years since I visited, it's a typical small town diner with nice portions and a good atmosphere. Service was pleasant though, my order was wrong. Wasn't a huge deal, ordered scrambled eggs got over easy, but the server was attentive and made sure my coffee cup was full(more important to me than the egg mix up). Would certainly return on my next visit to Avon.

I'll be kind. Food had pretty good flavor. Service was very slow. The dining area was very hot, humid & smelled like fish. It was busy prior to us but slowed down, as did the waiting staff. There was only 3 families in the dining room and people who came in after us had their food served first. Staff was very kind.
