“I’ve just had my third meal at Tony Mac’s in as many days, and again I was not disappointed!??? For lunch I had the curry goat which comes well-seasoned with rice and peas, steamed veggies and plantain. To drink I had a number 5 Sea Moss drink called “The Mac Body Heat” to wake up the body made of - Sea Moss, wheat germ, oats, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, roots and something called tigerbone! ???The waitress noted to me on the way out “Look after your wife tonight, the next day you might be getting a welcome visitor from the Creator!Great meal and the medium was mighty big for the money -$25 for the meal and drink! Highly recommended for great food, Garnett Silk music while you wait and the baby maker shake!!!!?????????Honey I’m home!????“

“This place is the best place to get your cake orders made ! They make the best cakes and they all taste amazing ! This is the only bakery I will go to from now on. “We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! We even asked for an extra birthday cupcake for our nephew to have on the day of the wedding, and they made it sooo cute! (wish I could figure out how to add a picture here... It was SO pretty!!!)“

“Cat is an absolute artist when it comes to anything dessert related. Recently she baked me my wedding cake and it was completely personalized and unique to all the requests that myself and my wife requested. She even personally delivered it to the wedding venue and coordinated with venue staff on the day of my wedding. I highly recommend stopping in for a variety of brownies/cookies/etc or for bigger event like a wedding cake!“

“Legendary Brooklyn baker Don Paco López has finally opened a Long Island outpost. This is the same bakery that was immortalized at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, and has a cult following for its conchas, tamales and milanesa and pierna tortas. The Westbury location is also tended by members of Don Paco López’ family so quality is guaranteed. The bread is fresh, made daily (by hand). I had an order or Bavarian cream-filled churros for a school event and they were a smashing hit. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
Kid-friendliness: There are hand crafted piñatas on site, Mexican candy and sweet baked goods and pastries perfect for kids .“

“I was craving a late sweet treat. (There goes my diet) I ran across Layers from Uber Eats and googled the store to read the reviews which were great but I saw some bad reviews about the cakes being stale and not fresh. My cravings got the best of me and I ordered despite some bad reviews. Man oh man was I happy I did. The brownie was delicious and moist. I hate hard dry brownies this place did not disappoint. I also ordered red velvet cupcakes. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure it will be great! Thank you Layers!!🔥🔥“

“Whenever I'm in Merrick, which is usually two or three times a month, I always stop at Bagelman of Merrick. They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. I've come to know the owner, Boris, and his staff, and they are always most helpful. Looking forward to my next trip to Merrick.“

“Kareem is a SAINT!! He greeted me my first time, and he has the warmest welcoming personality. Their pastries are the absolute best, and they make a bad morning better. Their cheese danish is extremely custardy, and has a soft background of vanilla. It's flakey, and falls apart when you bite it. I love their atmosphere, their employees—this location is amazing, and I've made myself a weekly regular solely from his hospitality.“

“Ordered 2 jerk chicken sandwiches. Delicious and mad meat for the price (pause). Thought it'd be more suacy tho. But great none the less. Got one spicy beef patty. Perfect. those three items for $13.50.. can't beat it.
Only con, claustrophobic people won't like it when it gets crowded which it does sometimes.“
