“BEST BAR IN BALDWIN (in my opinion). **Detailed review below**

The owner, Shawn, is friendly, respectful, and knows his stuff. When he took over The Irish Pub, he made it a point to get involved as an active part of the community and create an inclusive atmosphere. This bar and its patrons, especially on karaoke nights (every other Friday) with NV Entertainment, are a lively bunch so you'll be sure to have a good time. It does get crowded at times, especially during karaoke, but that's how you know it's a great place to be!

They have a new menu and I hadn't tried the burgers yet, so I figured I'd give the Bruin Burger a shot. I was having so much fun that I had to save the burger and fries for the next day, so it was wrapped up to go. Even next day, it DID NOT disappoint! Pop it in the air fryer and you're golden. No excuse not to get a good meal from here, even if you don't drink.

Last but not least, Big Los behind the bar is always helpful. Seeing I ordered a few drinks (and I have small hands), he picked them up with ease and brought them all to the table for me. I notice things like that because how many times have you been to a busy bar and the bartender just pours your drinks, takes your money, and you have to figure out how to get them over to your table without spilling? Los took the guesswork out of it. Thank you, Los!

“Order via Uber Eats. Uber eats messed up and told me I need to contact the store. I contacted the store and they were so helpful and cleared everything up. Wings were really good as well and a good size. Definitely ordering from there again.“

“I was craving collard greens - and looking for a new place to try. I found Village BBQ on line and was impressed with the reviews so off I went. Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. Customer next to me raved about the banana pudfing so I added that too. All 5 star!!! Very happy I took the chance on a place in a gas station!!“

“I live in Wantagh and have been to Dang many, many times. The food is great, the service is fantaststic and I would rate you a 10 out of 10 but for one thing...the MUSIC is horrible! It is the same songs by the same artist every time we attend and it is about 50% too loud as well. I like country music and it is appropriate but please, get some decent country music that has some classics and recognizable artists. Today, we had a great lunch and our waitress, Kaitlin, was wonderful. But we skipped desert because we just could not take any more of the terrible music. I know others who share my opinion. “AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“
