“Great smash burger! The beef is fresh and juicy, perfectly crisped on the edges sealing in all of the juice. Cheese is melted, onions are chopped nicely and thin with sauce. They give you pickles on the side but I wouldn’t have minded it all being together. The buns a classic soft potato roll - minor suggestion would be to keep it out a little so that the buns are not cold. The fries are delicious too, curled and fried to perfection. Overall an amazing burger, great place, staff is fun and friendly. Great place to grab a burger and some fries.“

“Nico is the top bartender in the area, super knowledgeable on all the beers and food and goes the extra mile for you. Furthermore, the GM Sal is a great guy who also knows all there is to know about local beers and the food at Shannon Rose. Overall a great spot for all types of drinks and food! 10/10“

“It was crowded and they were BUSY on a working Wednesday. I guess the food being this good, it would be a destination! Grub by Chef Waree is a gem. We had the Stewed Beef soup with rice noodles. Umami was off the charts with the soup. That meant that each slurp of perfectly cooked noodle was nicely coated with enough tasty broth not to need anything else. What was important to me was the great blend of textures with Gailan nicely chopped and perfectly cooked, fresh bean sprouts, and the rice noodles and tender, tasty beef chunks. The Phad Thai with Crispy Duck was well flavored and nicely spicy for "medium". The phat thai was generously sauced without drowning in sauce. Great service and a welcoming atmosphere.“

“I've lived in Ridgewood for over 10 years and have been past this place many times and kept saying that I would stop and grab a burger here. Last night my fiancée and I finally dined in. The food was excellent. The burgers were tasty, especially top with their secret sauce and the sweet potato fries were delicious, with a side of garlic aioli dipping sauce. The atmosphere reminded me of being in a bar but with a hint of the calmness of a winter cabin in the woods. What made our experience top notch was the service. Kim was our server and she made our first time very warm and welcoming as well as accommodating. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to chow down on nice big, juicy burger or even a healthy salad.“

Overall the staff is so friendly and customer service minded, the establishment was clean and fun, the food is good, and you can tell there is a lot of heart and soul in this place. I will review everything we ate according to my personal preference but if you don’t want to read the whole thing, all you need to know is you should definitely come check it out!!We ordered 5 garlic knot sliders, one loaded fries, stuffed garlic knots, pizza with a garlic knot crust, one of their signature sandwiches, and their own brand of sodas.Let’s start with the garlic, there is a lot of it, as there should be. It was the raw, pungent, slightly spicy garlic in oil appropriately put on everything as advertised. I like that. But it was a lot and I missed that subtle garlic infusion of some kind of cooked garlic that provides a softer balance as an accompaniment to the raw. It was delicious though as is and the flavor just stays with you in such a nice way.Sliders- we got Chicken Bacon Ranch, out of this world, Eggplant Parm, not my favorite but I’m picky about my eggplant parm, Shrimp Parm, coming back for this one it was phenomenal, Chicken Vodka, ok but I didn’t really taste the vodka sauce, and Phill Cheese, also very good. The eggplant I think may have been flour instead of breading (normal differences in preparation) and I prefer breading so I felt like this was just a personal miss on flavor. The garlic know slider bread was so nice and airy and soft. The chicken vodka just got overpowered by the garlic so it was not my favorite. Really enjoyed the tasting experience though.Stuffed garlic knots - we got Peperoni and they were really good. Dipped in marinara, just what you would expect, cheesy, garlicky, goodness.Loaded fries - These are really loaded up. We got pulled pork and the pork was super flavorful. My daughter felt like there could be more cheese but I honestly thought it was a good ratio. Fries were solid; standard, string fries. Overall very yummy dish.Pizza - we got a plain cheese pizza with a garlic knot crust. Very creative. Very cool. The pizza itself was a little too doughy for my taste, I like a thinner crust, but I am sure if I had asked for it as a preference they would have accommodated. The garlic know crust was good. Again, lots of garlic, just as you would anticipate. I enjoyed the crust.Signature sandwich - we got “the insider” which was Philly cheesesteak like but with their own sauce that really made a difference. Now here you can opt to have the garlic and oil on top or not. We opted in as this was what we came for. I would probably order it on the side next time. The sandwich was out of this world though. Super tenderSteak, pepper and onions, that yummy sauce, oozy cheese, and the bread was very fresh, soft, airy. I would definitely order this again.Soda - they have their own brand of bottled soda there and the black cherry was so good we ordered two more to go.I wanted to try a milkshake but was much too full at the end of the meal so we will definitely have to go back for that. “OK, I've got to admit I'm a very big fan and addict of White Castle. The sliders here are my all-time favorite. They redid the entire restaurant and it looks so much cleaner and so much nicer. Before you couldn't really see how your White Castle burgers were being made, but now you can see everything. “The atmosphere here is very warm and fun! I started coming here alone to sit on their wonderful patio and to just unwind after a long work day/week, and I have met some of the most wonderful people. The bartenders and the patrons are so friendly, social and some silly and make you feel very welcoming. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and watch the numerous hawks flying overhead which is a sight to see! Bridget and Desi are such wonderful friendly owners also. Check out the woman's bathroom and observe the beautiful fresh flowers! Food is excellent and the drinks are affordable and made perfectly by the fantastic bartenders! “I normally don’t even eat burgers, but my girlfriend was craving a burger today so I decided to go for it and we tried Johnny Rockets for the first time and I am glad to say that I loved it! I got the first one on the menu (I think it’s called The Rocket), and it was perfect for me who is very picky. I removed the onions because I don’t like onions, but it was just perfect! “Been going there since I moved to the area in the mid ‘80s. The food is great and the value is outstanding. Nice large portions. Only thing better than the food is the staff. They are friendly and fast! Always a fun day out whether you’re having a family dinner or just watching a game on one of the many TVs. The owner Ray truly has found a winning formula. “Drive by this a lot. Always a full parking lot, so decided to drop in and get a taste. On the menu was the farm burger. Not sure where the meat is sourced from, but it had a signature sauce. Probably some mix of ketchup, mayo and something else The burger was very filling, and the fries were the best part. As for the bun, not sure if it is made on site, but my opinion is it a little too thick and dense. Definitely a filling meal though. Will return again to try other items like the cookies and such.“
