Decided to visit today for the first time in awhile. Amazed at how bad the food is. Everything was blah besides the French onion soup.
Also, the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and you can smell them from the dining room. They need some serious cleaning or remodeling to get rid of that smell. Seems like they really let this restaurant go.
We visited Alex's place yesterday and I had the worst meal. I ordered a filet medium and received a filet rare. It was blue inside, it was so rare. I let the server know and she sent it back. It came back and the entire texture changed. It was like rubber. The cooks put my cut filet in the steamer. I gave it to my dog tonight and could not believe the fat in the steak. Over half was fat. My family has been driving to Alex's place from Buffalo for many years now. We've always loved it, until yesterday. We had a party of 12, a reservation made a week in advance. Our reservation was for 4:00 and not 3 minutes after 4:00 while my parents were walking in (both in walkers) we were told that there was a large group of people that had a reservation at 6 PM so we needed to be done by then.
