“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “The owners are simply phenomenal. The $10 entry with a free drink is the absolute best deal in town. The entertainment at Eleanor's is second to none, especially the DJs! Okay, maybe I'm a biased DJ there... LoL“

“Lived near this place and drove past it a million times for 10 yrs now... never went in. My hubby has with friends a few times. Wanted to get a bite so I suggested going there... glad we did! The food was fantastic! Lots of friendly faces behind and at the bar. This just turned into our new go to!“
“I go there when Priscilla is there because the 1st time I went there she was amazing and made me feel like one of their own right away. I gave 5 stars for food because they let you order in and theres free food most of the time on fridays when I go. When i stay late theres always a good band or DJ. Definitely worth checking out!!“

“What can i say is this is a friendly local pub with great people inside . “While traveling for my son’s baseball tournament in Yaphank, NY my family and friends stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant!! Everything from the food to the staff is incredible!! I highly recommend this place and so did everyone else we went with (we brought 15 people with us). Everyone cleaned their plate and these are not small portions! The food is extremely fresh and there is a great sense of pride in their product. We loved our experience here and we will absolutely return when we come back in August!!“

Th customers here are far from beyond exceptional.Bobby fhe maintenance, bouncer, plumber, bar attended helper. The guy with a heart of stone. He knows a bot about everything and a gem in a pub for visitors. Thana you.Mario is another gem, bit of a wild card, not a cig, and he will make you laugh all night. “Came here on a whim the other night and had an amazing time. The people here were so friendly and kind. The bartender Sue (lol idk how to spell it) she was a gem helped me feel really comfortable. The drinks were reasonably priced. The people here take pool seriously though so bring your game face. Parking was easy & I suggest paying & tipping with cash. Oh and most importantly the bathroom was clean!!“

“My wife and I stopped in after the Jeff Tweedy show at the Patchogue Theater because I’ve been curious to see what it looks like.
We both had to show the really nice door man our ID (I’m 64 and she’s 62).
The place looks great, and reminds me of a few beloved bars from my younger days. I’ll be back for a drink sometime soon.

“This place is where it’s at!!!!!!! The employees were really awesome, and remember my drink and had another ready for me before I could ask! The food is great and perfect menu for a good snack or a munchie when out at a place like this! It hit the spot! Manjaaaaa! The patio is great to hang outside and the place was clean too! The music was on point that made everyone happy and just a vibe here. I recommend this place to anyone and if you’re looking for a great happy hour spot or even to have an event deff hit this place up. I was there about a week ago and my friend talked me into going and I’m so happy did as I was not in the mood. Well we got there, instantly my mood went from soso to yoyoooooooo!!!!! Also there was a woman there who I can’t remember her name but she was deff a staple and possibly an owner not sure but she lit the room up and her energy was contagiously amazing!
