“This is the quintessential local “dive bar”, you will see the same faces every time you walk in. You will also see the same staff members which is huge in my book. That means they are treated well! The food is killer too, my favorites being the nachos, the chicken Caesar salad, and the steak sandwich. I used to love the mozzarella sticks but for some reason they changed them to some really big weird ones. Also, they have half priced wings on Mondays and they are known for their killer wings! If you’re looking for fancy you will not find it…however if you’re looking for fun, good food, a jukebox, and all the sports you could dream of this is your place.“

The lady serving had no problem in sorting me a screen despite it being a Sunday and that's a NFL day in the US, they also had the Mets playing on a screen as well. The bar is ine of my favourite ive ever been. Outstanding place to watch sport especially if your staying around Queens or a few hours to kill near La Guardia airport or JFK“

“I was a bit hesitant while viewing the complaints but our server today was top tier. This is a sports bar restaurant it is family and kid friendly. Definitely, not a fast food joint so wait times can be longer than normal. The cocktails are amazing. Also, if anyone in your party is celebrating their birthday ask for the birthday dessert. They will put happy birthday song on the screen and have 2 waiters sing along with their dessert and a candle on it. Geovanny did an amazing work tonight.“

“Seating and food was great! They did give me my meat medium well which I asked for just medium, the cook did redo it for me and was very nice and professional about it. The only bad thing about it was the atmosphere which was a bit hot, especially when seated on leather seats and our server Jessie had bit of an attitude. I understand that being a server is tough but at least don’t take out your frustration on customers or have a bad face when serving. Didn’t feel comfortable asking for things from her.“

“I have been a customer of Austin’s Ale House for many years, I know them well they know me well. This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. Since the taste test was so aggressive we may need to supplement what’s left with a few cheese omelets 🤣. We enjoyed it so much there was much talk about it becoming the new family tradition. “It was a Saturday night and they had some artist singing on stage which was awesome. The food was absolutely out of this world. The chim pum callao had all the main traditional dishes of the house, Causa, choros a la chalaca, ceviche, chaufa de mariscos and chicharron de pescado. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced. The weekend specials were the bomb!! Papa rellena en salsa de mariscos was addicting. I also loved their drinks, all of them highly recommended, well decorated and the fact that it comes with the smoky in it its just a plus, have not seen it anywhere at all. All of the servers were smiling with a positive attitude all the time. The service was A+++ as well as the place itself with the two chimneys makes you feel very cozy and warm. One of the servers told me that they were going to start serving BRUNCH on Saturdays and Sundays. Definitely will be back for Brunch!!!!“

- For Ribeyes it was thin and I ordered medium-rare, it came medium. Tastes a little salty for me, I like the flavor. It is pricy for this quality of meat choice and cook. Sides are okay. 3.5/5“

Ximena was patient, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations for menu options. Staff made last minute changes to the serving schedule to accommodate late comers, they quickly prepared another appetizer to accommodate a lactose intolerant guest...overall they were patient and gracious. The venue was clean, the food was delicious and even took care of the parking...valet service was great! Thank you!!“
