“I went to Crumbs. Bakeshop for the first time today, it is very welcoming & cozy, a place you would read about in a book 📚 or see in a hallmark film. I highly recommend this little gem, the coffee was delicious, the treats are a generous size, filled with flavor & goodness. 10/10”

“Stopped here on our way to Verona for lunch with a group of 8. Sometimes that can be challenging for a small café, but we got our food quickly and it was delicious!!! Definitely will stop again for brunch or lunch when I’m in the area! Highly recommend.”

Currently sipping on a hot cup of "Whitetail" and let me tell ya, you CANNOT make this stuff taste anything but amazing. “We went today for the first time. We had read a lot of good comments about Belfort Inn on fb, and the latest review of a food critic made us decide it was time to make the trip from Gouverneur. The fish fry was delicious as was the homemade mac & cheese! The young bartender was welcoming and took good care of us. We will definitely be back to try other menu items 😊”

“Just wanted to get on here and post.. we came up from PA snowmobiling and during our route that we found out by stopping at Pond Effects was shut off by pissed of land owners. We had no choice but to turn around and go the exact way we came (conditions weren’t great and it was about 80 miles)… as we sat and had great food and a few beverages, the owners kids came in. She made a point to her daughter that we were some what “screwed” and we were staying in Turin NY roughly 20 minutes away via vehicle. Her daughter went out of her way to take us back to the lodge to get our trailer and load the sleds at her business! All I can say is great people, great food, cold beer and I hope they can find a 3 mile connector to this bar because it would be a great place for snowmobilers to stop!!”

While the cuisine is excellent, it's the exceptional staff that makes this restaurant one of my top choices in Lowville. “So I thought I had ordered the large calzone, but when I arrived it was the calzone pizza. Um.. it was even better than the traditional calzones and was perfect for feeding a small group for lunch. I definitely recommend this if you haven’t tried it.”
