“The pizza is great! Also got a meatball and cheese sub that was amazing! The sub roll was sooo soft yet held together and wasn't soggy when you get around to the 2nd half. They tasted freshly made in house!! Will be back often!”
“The local watering hole. What a nice place! Ashley the manager/bartender is a gem. The owners are wonderful too. The food is great. My group of 6 had no complaints. We played trivia on Wednesday. It was fun. It was a little hard to hear at times though. There is corn hole outside and some docks down by the water and a pool table inside with a modern jukebox. It was pouring rain when we were there. As we were leaving, the owner ran out with umbrellas for us which was sweet. We camp near there every year. We're so glad it has opened back up because it's a great place to hang out. We will definitely be back next year!Parking: The road ends at the buckhorn. Plenty of space to park.”
“Nice and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is kind and attentive. The white chocolate mocha latte is delicious. It's not over sweet and has a little bit of an earthy taste. The chocolate chip cream cheese muffin is a must. Also, not over sweetened, it tastes like a muffin should.”
“I love this place. Very friendly. Where the locals go. Open for breakfast and lunch all year and dinners in the warmer months. You can order ahead.Parking: It is very popular and sometimes the parking lot is full. I've seen people park in the grocery store and walk over.”
“This is a cozy restauraunt with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The burgers, fries, and French onion soup are all amazing.Dietary restrictions: Unfortunately there aren't many gluten free options here, but the fries, loaded potato skins, and soup make up for it.”
“It's very relaxed and clean. The french vanilla hazelnut latte is a must. The orange cranberry scone is one of the best scones I've had. They have kid friendly options that my toddlers loved. When you first walk in, there is a door to the right that has a kids' play area that's closed off from the rest of the shop and has a place to sit and eat.”
“This is a great little cafe, treats are baked fresh every morning. Anything older than that is labeled as such and discounted. Very pleasant old brick building / hardwood floor atmosphere, possibly crowded on Saturdays but not otherwise. Wifi, clean restroom, everything you would hope for including a very pleasant staff. I personally feel the prices are a little high, but not out of line with everything else these days. The village of Lowville is fortunate to have this place, and I hope it does very well in the coming years.”
“Super cool and unique place! Owners and staff are friendly and very welcoming. Espresso was brewed perfect. The coffee shop side knows what they are doing, for sure. Took a loaf of bread home from the bake shop side for dinner and the whole family loved it! Awesome place!”
“I refer to Flat Rock Inn as the Icon of Tug Hill. Gordon and his Staff are amazing people, that work very hard, for people to enjoy the Tug Hill experience.Nearby activities: Gordon rents snowmobiles, ATV's, and side by sides, so people can see the beauty that Tug Hill has to offer. On the second weekends of June, July, and August, Flat Rock Inn hosts snowmobile Watercross races. Watching a snowmobile hydroplane at speeds over 60+ mph is something everyone should experience !”
“I've only been once since the new owners took over, but the pizza was fantastic. Highly reccomend if you're in the area and looking for a good pie at a solid ”
“Love Tug Hill! I was in the area and am always excited to try new coffee. I asked about their flavors; I prefer dark, bold blends. They recommended Rough and Ready. I'm so glad I tried it! It's great! I'm looking forward to trying more of their coffees. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the area.”
“Was really good, was disappointed in not having many baked goods available. Maybe they have a full selection in the morning but we were there at noon and the display was mostly empty. Lunch was really good though, and our server was great. I'm sure we will be back plenty and find a better selection of bakery items in the future.”
“Very cute cafe. Good coffee with a large selection of drip coffee options. Also a lot of things to purchase I.e coffee beans, honey, jams, and many more. Classic soft music playing. Had a nice coffee/card date here. Perfect setting for relaxing. Food looked good too.”
“The food prepared for my son’s wedding was absolutely delicious! It was affordable and Jim made everything so easy for us. I would highly recommend their catering services!”
“I met them at the Lewis County fair. It's difficult to find a good brisket in the North Country. I wanted it, but not in sandwich. She gave me an enormous portion of meat, which was the best I've had up here. It had a nice bark, was super tender and delicious. The woman that was there was very nice, and took really good care of me. I will definitely look them up when I swing through Lowville again. ?”
“Haven't been out in a bit but went and saw my friends sing and play. Staff was friendly and so were the regulars. Bar food was just what you would expect for bar food. Great evening out!”
“a great local hangout that tolerates out of towner's pretty well too. Drinks are generous and the price is accomodating.People love the breakfast and the Friday fish fry. This week she even had corned beef.”
“Throughly enjoyed my experience here today! The new manager is awesome, and his staff was very attentive and ready to help us. 10/10 will be stopping back here when we come through Lowville again!”
“We love our local Tony Harper's in Lowville! Best margaritas and very accommodating on menu substitutions and combinations. Superb service! Wish they had a little more space, but we still love going!”
“Let me just sum it up right now, "The Perfect fast food experience". Everything was just as you would expect it to be. I have not had a great fast food experience in quite sometime but Arbys goes beyond all expectations. Great service, great food!”
“Haven't eaten there in years and the experience then wasn't so great. But the other day I seen some of my coworkers have it and it looked and smelled great!! So today the wife and I tried and... Delicious!!! Quite pleased with going back. Tonight's dinner was great!!!”
“Normally, jrecks is my favorite place for subs. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the roast beef on my sub was very grisly and hard to eat, making it a messy experience.Parking: At certain times of day, it can be very difficult to find parking nearby.”
“I’ve had the pleasure of watching my local Dunkin’ go from 50/50 service to almost 100% every time within a couple years. I visit this location every single morning, I’m always greeted with a kind smile but I’d really like to point out the two younger gentlemen that do drive thru and kitchen.. they are awesome. Remembering your regulars is a huge advantage for a business and they're employees I’d greatly appreciate if I were you. Keep up the awesome work.”
“These guys have great subs but I don’t have words to describe their wings. They are hands down the best I’ve ever had. Please try them for yourself!!!!Kid-friendliness: It’s a modern simple place that allows children to move around without fear of breaking anything!”
“Cheeseburgers were nice and hot and mcchicken was nice and hot and fries were hot and fresh and ice tea had plenty of ice in itParking: Enough parking and if have to wait for food enough spaces for that too”
“Pizza had really good flavor, but for a thin crust pizza, I think they should cut down on the amount of cheese (imo), because it makes the thin crust really really oily & soggy.”
“Awesome new parking lot. Good cold beer and pleasant bartenders that make it feel like home, especially when your mother from Louisiana calls and you have your mom on speaker phone”
