“Very good food. When they pack mixed vegetables it actually has variety of vegetables not just broccoli and green peppers like the other Chinese food places.

“There are Chinese takeout restaurants everywhere, but this is one of the best I've been to. The decor isn't fancy, but the tables are large and clean so it would be fine for a quick sit down meal. I always get takeout and the staff is very polite and helpful, the food is always good, it's prepared quickly, and the prices are good, especially for the lunch specials.

I also really like that you can buy things that I don't usually see offered at other Chinese takeout restaurants, like side containers of the most popular sauces, a pint or quart of plain broth, and bean curd vegetable soup (my partner doesn't eat chicken or pork so he can't have wonton or egg drop soup).

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options that are tofu or vegetable based. My partner really likes the sesame bean curd and the General Tsao's bean curd, which are pptions we don't usually see on Chinese takeout menus.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“This would be compared to a highly upscale Panda. If you wanted Panda type dishes, only cooked with much better ingredients and with much better flavor, this is where it’s at. Really good garlicky fried rice. The clear broth won ton soup was very hot and hit the spot. I loved their orange chicken, which had a good little kick of spice to it. And the grilled shrimp in their farm fresh infusion was so good and the biggest hit.

“The food is here is by far one of the more reliable places to get Asian Cuisine. The food is not overly fried or heavily seasoned. We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. Normally I have something criticizing to say but I genuinely appreciate this place for a cheat night. You won’t feel guilty with the fun of take out. The place is small and there isn’t anywhere to eat if you wanted. The customer service is good, however you will need to wait in your car because there isn’t much room to wait inside and no where to sit. Give it a try. Photo is my wife pounding down one of their egg rolls because she can’t wait till we get home (Not oily at all). As healthy as Chinese food can probably get in NYC.“

“What long island lacks is a truly clean (flavor) and delicious Chinese food spot. Been living in nassau for over 20 years i’ve tried all the chinese food spots. But this one right here? The best.

I may be a bit biased here. But I dislike when chinese food places use old oil and drench everything in grease. Asian house has clean flavor, where you can actually taste the ingredients (from the vegetable fried rice). One thing that I always get from chinese food spots to know their quality is by ordering their shrimp toast. Every other spot i’ve been to near by will serve a burnt, nearly black, old grease filled shrimp toast. But at Asian house, they served me a golden brown shrimp toast where the oil tasted fresh and i can actually taste the shrimp.

I truly have found my chinese food spot for good.“

Decided to go today on my own, just simple wings and ridged french fries and I must say, since moving here to Freeport from Brooklyn, this is definitely the closest to what I used to get in terms of taste quality. -> VEGETABLE FRIED RICE: super yum and flavorful (can customise the spice). The quantity was so worth the money. 100/10

-> BROCOLLI WITH GARLIC SAUCE: one of the best things i have tried. goes so well with plain white rice or even better with the fried rice. we got it made super spicy and COULDNT get enough of it. Again omg the quantity was soooo goooood.

3 people shared the above 2 dishes along with some light soup and we were all full, so cost effective, the bill was 30 dollars and iM more than happy to write this review.

Only negative points for me:
1. they use eggs to make their noodles, so i couldn't try them
2. not much variety for vegetarians who dont eat eggs.

“We catered a great lunch for 15 which included Gen Tso Chicken, chicken with mixed. Veggies, beef lo mein, fried rice , egg rolls and spare ribs- everyone loved it! The ingredients were so fresh, very high quality meats and they were cooked perfectly. It was less than $20 pp and so much leftover that they all took some home. I very highly recommend Ming’s!“

I live close by and I’m on kid duty on Saturdays so I always order from here.

I always get the same woman and she cracks me up. Knows my address from the system and my order usually but then will just randomly throw me a Wan ton soup for no reason. I keep the quart for my dad because he loves it but you just don’t get stuff like that anymore. That’s how you treat people in the community.

Portions are solid too. I feel like you get a good amount for your money. Also rare nowadays. Delivery can sometimes take awhile but I like my Chinese places busy and fresh. I’m a sesame chicken guy and sometimes I need a little extra sauce but that’s the extent of any “issues”.

“It's not dine in. I ordered on UE first but then started picking up to avoid all of the tacked on costs. Best egg rolls ever! They don't seem to reuse the oil so much that they taste off and they somehow have always made them so they're never dripping with oil. Obviously I haven't had a good egg roll in a while.

As far as hoisin sauce and hot oil, we’ll I still have some and it’s been a good while. They sent me a freezer bag full of soy sauce , duck sauce and mustard packets which I think I’ll have for a few years.
