“Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Fat Boy Burrito Commack! If I could give Fat Boy Burrito in Commack more than five stars, I absolutely would! From the moment my husband and I walked in, we were greeted with the most welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The energy of the place is incredible, and you can tell right away that this is more than just a restaurant—it’s a place where customers truly matter. Now, let’s talk about the food—WOW! Every bite was an explosion of flavor. The burritos were packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and crafted with care. “Note** definitely call ahead if you don’t want to wait a half hour for your food. (Their website states that you don’t have to call ahead, that you can just walk in to order, but absolutely call ahead. You can always just make a separate purchase for any grab and go stuff that isn’t listed on the menu.). I wish we would have known this. We just trusted the suggestion on the website, and lost valuable time on our road trip. That said, the food was really tasty! We got the oxtail bowl (the platter option is much more expensive but has sautéed veggies instead of the kale slaw. The slaw was fine. Not too raw tasting) and we also got the diri djon djon (“black” rice with the fried oyster mushrooms.) The rice itself isn’t black. It’s more like “blackened” with spices. I noticed a hint of coconut in this. There were peas and Lima beans in this one. It was really nice. The tostones were a little dry, but I’m more of a sweet baked plantain person. Which just so happened to be included in the oxtail bowl, so I’m happy with that. The rice that was included in the oxtail bowl was more simple than the blackened rice, and had kidney beans in it. (This rice reheated much better than the other one.). The diri djon djon should be eaten all in one sitting. None of the components reheat particularly well, but all of the oxtail bowl reheated quite nicely. (Honestly, if you’re not in need of a second meal, I would go for the single oxtail platter which likely could feed 2 people, and leave it at that. We easily had 4 total meals out of what we ordered) We also got a plantain patty. It wasn’t listed on the menu. It was tasty! It had small blasts of spiciness but was overall mild. Seemed like it was plantains and caramelized onions. We also got the banana bread (straightforward) and strawberry keylimeade. (Quite refreshing and tasty.) We managed to not make a mess while sitting at the bench outside. There is a table inside, but unfortunately there isn’t a little table outside. (I’m Still coviding) there is, however, a little table outside the birria place next door, so if you don’t feel weird using another company’s seating. Go for it.“

“The owner is great, the bartenders are great, Kerry the manager is so kind and nice and accommodating. The food is delicious; there’s too much food there’s always at least two meals for each order the food that you make. The overall ambience is fun as the patrons that frequent this restaurant are regulars. There’s just a homey and fun tinge to this Bellmore Classic.“

“I’ve been going here since I was little and boy have they always delivered, like if I had to choose best pizza place this would be it 100% only gripes I got are that sometimes the pizza is different like more cheese less sauce little issues every blue moon. My favorite dish here is the spaghetti and meatballs and if I had to choose taste this would be my equivalent of heaven on earth. Overall would eat here as long as I live within a 1 hour distance.“

The star of the menu has to be the fire waffles and chicken crispy, savory, and perfectly paired with fluffy waffles that had the perfect touch of sweetness. It’s comfort food at its finest, and the portion sizes are just right. The hot chocolate? Out of this world just what you need to warm your soul. Service was fast and friendly, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with fantastic food, you need to check this place out!“

“I’ve never been to a rodizio restaurant before, and I came up to Long Island to spend Easter and my birthday with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. It was by far the best experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant, the staff were professional, knowledgeable, efficient , the food is constantly hot. I would rate this restaurant at 10 star! If you’re on Long Island, it’s a must to try!“

A WIDE MENU. A NICE CROWD. Fun to eat at the bar or grab a quick lunch.

Salads, Burgers, appetizers... a lot better than fast food at a not much higher price.

“Recently found this place and have been very happy I did. The meats have a decent char which I look for with my meat forward meals if I can get things cooked by flame. The seating is not best but honestly that’s far from a deterrent for me. I want repeated and proper flavor from the kitchen and that’s what I’ve gotten. I’ve also brought a myriad of friends here and they all concur that the food is a very good handling of what Greek/gyro flavors should be. Definitely worth a try for me.“

“Amazing staff, Dema at the front is amazing with customers and he does everything he can to take the best care of his customers. I have young kids and it’s just so easy to stop by for a few slices at a good price, especially with today’s economy.
