“Upon making the very first visit to the restaurant, I inquired about a few things, such as the ordering process and the availability on particular food items. I tried messaging them via instagram, but the communication was delayed and at times, left unread and unresponsive.

So, I went ahead and gave them a visit right when they opened on saturday afternoon. Thankfully, everything went smoothly, with the exception of one hiccup, in which I’ll explain later in the review. I ordered the brown stew plate, the jerk wrap and a callaloo patty. Everything was delicious!!!!! In addition I requested the cinnamon bun, as it was listed on their menu for the week, but they didn’t offer it. The handsome gentleman who took my order was kind and even shared with me some of his favorites from the menu.

On my second trip to the restaurant, I visited them right when they opened on friday evening. This time, the experience was a tad bit chaotic. Their patties sold out within an hour of opening. Their cinnamon bun was listed as part of the items offered that week, but turned out they actually weren’t offering it. The wait time to receive your order was about an hour long! I’ve never experienced waiting an hour for a takeout order. They definitely could utilize some extra helping hands, as other visitors experienced the same mishaps as well. Besides the takeout experience, I ordered the rasta pasta, the djon djon platter and a spinach patty. Again, the food was delicious!!!!! Despite of the unavailability on certain food items, the long wait time and the unresponsiveness, I would definitely visit again….but I pray that the operation of the restaurant and the communication get’s better as this vegan business THRIVES!!! ✨

“The owner is great, the bartenders are great, Kerry the manager is so kind and nice and accommodating. The food is delicious; there’s too much food there’s always at least two meals for each order the food that you make. The overall ambience is fun as the patrons that frequent this restaurant are regulars. There’s just a homey and fun tinge to this Bellmore Classic.“

“I’ve been going here since I was little and boy have they always delivered, like if I had to choose best pizza place this would be it 100% only gripes I got are that sometimes the pizza is different like more cheese less sauce little issues every blue moon. My favorite dish here is the spaghetti and meatballs and if I had to choose taste this would be my equivalent of heaven on earth. Overall would eat here as long as I live within a 1 hour distance.“

The star of the menu has to be the fire waffles and chicken crispy, savory, and perfectly paired with fluffy waffles that had the perfect touch of sweetness. “I’ve never been to a rodizio restaurant before, and I came up to Long Island to spend Easter and my birthday with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. It was by far the best experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant, the staff were professional, knowledgeable, efficient , the food is constantly hot. I would rate this restaurant at 10 star! If you’re on Long Island, it’s a must to try!“

“Recently found this place and have been very happy I did. The meats have a decent char which I look for with my meat forward meals if I can get things cooked by flame. The seating is not best but honestly that’s far from a deterrent for me. I want repeated and proper flavor from the kitchen and that’s what I’ve gotten. I’ve also brought a myriad of friends here and they all concur that the food is a very good handling of what Greek/gyro flavors should be. Definitely worth a try for me.“

Salads, Burgers, appetizers... a lot better than fast food at a not much higher price.

“Amazing staff, Dema at the front is amazing with customers and he does everything he can to take the best care of his customers. I have young kids and it’s just so easy to stop by for a few slices at a good price, especially with today’s economy. I alway cater from them for birthdays or any party and all my guests, from kids to adults love the food. Can’t go wrong with Franks 😃😋😋💕“
